There is an exact copy of the thumbnail person in the lines in a rock carving in New Mexico. It was rather the same guy or some one who seen it from the air. So I think it might be a lil more then a cave drawing.

There is also the estrellas. Glyphs of stars carved into the ground. You will find all sorts shaped patterns and unsual things that look like modern bar codes or something There is a video of it on UA-cam. There definitely some sort of meaning to them. What it is. Who knows. But some think its a gigantic map of stars with the planets that orbit it. The distance. Etc etc.
Nazca lines are probably made to send a message to the Gods and if Nazca people can count, they can certainly draw massive drawings from a tiny reference.

The cat doesnt look like it belongs to the Nazca people. It doesnt fit the aesthetic of the other figures and isnt as precise. It looks more like a doodle by a 6 year old. Its almost as if at some point someone saw the lines and decided they could make one but they didnt know how.
I would guess that the cat was either the first one and looks so bad because it was a practice run, or was the last one and was made by people with diminishing capabilities due to the mentioned ecological changes that wiped out the Nazca people. Granted, thats just my speculation, but it makes sense to me.
