Dear Albert, I'm curious about, What happen when the load is not a resistor, Instead an inductor or any non-linear load? the plant of V loop and I loop will be quiet different, it might not stable using a PI controller?
Hi, followed method of simulation and created stable bode plot. But when I am using smartctl inbuilt tool to create PI then it never work for sinusoidal input
+Ordulf I have not done it yet, sorry. Soon enough, please have a look at the PFC design video, it is a two loop control video which I do an analog and digital controller side by side.
essentially, you need to put some capacitance on the DC side. I'm not excited about the cap on the AC side, look up a totem pole PFC. It is the same topology.
Hi @butera you need more information than this.. as the inductor and cap sizing are based on ripple specs. That being said, the "buck" equations are valid for the output stage of this inverter.
Hi Albert, nice work! Could I have the both controllers' parameters for 240V output? I want do some work with it but I don't have a SMART CONTROL. Thank you
@@altairhowto Dear Albert, thank you for your reply. Are you going to post the schematic with 240V output? I have learnt and built a 120V output schematic from your video. Since I don't have Smart Control, I couldn't get PI controller work correctly for the 240V one.

can I get the values for carrier signal and the DC input voltage

+Jagdeep K Kataria please post your circuit and question in our forum. www.powersimtech.com
Hi,
is there a Digital control loop video yet?
thanks
Can you share the design files? link is not working
Thanks Albert. Which video is it where you digitize these controls?

Hi. Is there any video with digital control of inverter?
Hi, Is the design files are accessible
Hi dear owners, when I find total harmonic distortion in psim should I multiply it with hundred to get percent THD or it is already in percentage..
?
if the result is 0.2 that is 20% THD
@@altairhowto thanx alot
Hi, can that inversor be used as a bidirectional conversor or just in the ac/dc way?

@PSIM hello there Albert, i was wondering which formula would you use to set an inductor, capacitor for 400v dc input to get 220 v ac
Hi @butera you need more information than this.. as the inductor and cap sizing are based on ripple specs. That being said, the "buck" equations are valid for the output stage of this inverter.
design files are here: powersimtech.com/support/communities/topic/single-phase-inverter-from-tutorial-video/#post-42179
The link comes up as a 404 error

I will post the schematic to our forum later today. Just at ECCE this week. Forums.powersimtech.com it isn't there yet

@@s6l662 Hi Sean, you need a big enough DC bus to get to 240V and then change the reference, I can't do your design work for you!!!
Should use a 4-pole filter with smaller inductors and capacitors.
can i see all of the parameter?
which parameters are you interested in? during the video all of the parameters are made available if you watch.
