This song was part of my childhood. ..my mom would play this whole album, and over 40 years later, it resurfaced in my spirit. I hv been listening repeatedly for the past few weeks. I think about what my young mother was experiencing, and the words mean so much more. Mama, God gave you the strength...to overcome every obtained your life, and you became a servant for God, even as you battled cancer,. YOU said Job had nothing on you. Praise God 🙌Thank you Mam for the foundation. I'm still learning and growing, but I will never let you down. My Father and Creator, And to everyone I'll show, My Purpose and My Goals, and I'll heed your every Command. ❤️
You cannot write such lyrics without a divine connection with a loving savior. Understanding this relationship with a loving Father is vital to the journey lest we find ourselves looking back and thus turning back.
