Or Kim… or Ben… or Matt… The absolute zeitgeist of that band’s chemistry rivals that of any other. So sadly, we lost the other guys, too. And yes, I know Matt is with PJ, but his musical lyricism and unique playing style have always favored Soundgarden.
I don't know whether to watch Chris or Matt on this. I end up watching it twice, watching them individually whenever I come back to watch this video, which is frequently.
Hayden Mckinley not many voices stand the test of time like that. one more I can think of is Corey Glover from living colour. saw him in Newcastle, England 2 months ago. incredible. RIP Cornell.
The song was released in '86. Imagine that. SO groundbreaking. I'm almost 50 and I was a junior in HS when this was released. Popular music was WAY different than this in '86.
Holy shit. Chris Cornell is without question the most gifted vocalist and song writer of all time. In my opinion. The energy and talent in this performance is just unbelievable.
That fuckin drum fill at 2:33 is so MC and so brilliant against the grind beat of the song...great performance of this old classic
He still had it. What a voice
Matt absolutely destroying it at 3:04
Matt Cameron w Pearl jam 🙂
Matt Cameron w Soundgarden 😈🔥😈
I was watching Matt the whole time, like the drumming on this one
Happy Birthday, Chris. We sure do miss you.
Fuckin' Matt Cameron, what a beast.
Matt Cameron the beast
Total F’ing Godhead
That's an old school pull. Right on!
Matt is fucking cool
Matt Cameron is a straight BEAST!!!
I'm glad Matt is pulling it back. The song doesn't sound good when it's too fast. It's supposed to sludge
Classic Soundgarden heavy as fuck
mhmmm so awesome
There will never be another like him.
No, never. It haunts me every day.
NO!
Well all live once in a lifetime
@@OGGOAT23 In any lifetime there will never be another Chris. My heart forever broken.

The vocal range is fucking surreal. You can hear his voice begin to warm up , he hits that high note at the 2nd measure. Amazing he can still do it
This made me sob.
@@MortuaryMommame too. Incredible song. Nothing. Nothing. Nothing!!!!!!!
Exactly. Range is the best. He has almost perfect vocals. ❤

kinda sounds like an early slaves and bulldozers
2:31 amazing fill by Matt
3:08 man is a genius
IT WAS SO CRAZY I LAUGHED OUT LOUD WHAT THE HELL MATT LOL
Cameron is the shit!!
Mr. Mat Cameron
Anyone else come to see if CC could still hit the notes as a 50 year old? Well he fucken killed it.
Great fucking song you can hear new wave influences in early Soundgarden but with chunks of black Sabbath fucking brilliant
Just needed the first high notes to warm up and he was back at it like it was 1989

86 is when this originally came out. His voice isn't what it was then but was still amazing the howl is fucking haunting
@@ItachiUchiha-ry2ju He voice was getting better as he aged.
Breathtaking. I have else nothing to say.
The guitar and bass sludge at 1:15 made me crap my pants
That’s the general idea. Well done.
Legendary, like always ❤
This track on a rooftop in Hiroshima 1995... that is all. RIP CC...
Holy shit. Chris Cornell is without question the most gifted vocalist and song writer of all time. In my opinion. The energy and talent in this performance is just unbelievable.
My absolute fave because of all those reasons. 🤯
Those eyes!!! I’m telling you Chris was a chameleon.
I remember hearing this song near the end of their show in Davenport, Iowa, with TAD and ELEVEN for SUPERUNKNOWN in the Summer of 1994.
🕰3:00 - oh! ¿did you see that? it seems that Chris entered by seconds into a trance (ecstasy) as his spirit floated👽on the air with this 🎵
By far my favorite song dude. This is fucking sick.
Bro this is Sick. Best Song Ever
I love Chris Cornell so much!! Unfortunately, I saw him at the last show in Detroit. What a bummer!
