    I love Pastor Skeete teaching skills I will follow God first then Pastor Skeete.
    I only have one request if anyone can get this to him I will greatly appreciate it . When a question is asked in the audience it needs to be repeated because often times we the UA-cam watchers can't here the questions. I take notes so in this portion a question was asked, the answer was given but. .....can't write down an answer without the question and I don't want to assume what the question was!!! So please if anyone have direct contact with Pastor Skeete place a bug in his ear. 👋 thank you 😊

      Still check and verify. God wants you to. Even He said:
      Isaiah 1:18 (KJV) Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
      ☝️
      Just don't strive against the truth, when you learn of it:
      Genesis 6:3 (KJV) And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.

    When you see someone in need, do you secretly pout and groan inside? Being a Christian we are responsible to help others. However, sometimes we turn the other way and cross to the other side of the road. A lot of times we just don't want to get involved, lose time, or hear a sob story. Be generous with your mercy.

    If I were there I would ask you this: 1. What was wrong with marrying and being given in marriage?
    2. What was wrong with eating and drinking?
    3. What was wrong with planting and building?
    Aren't' these normal every day activities in most human societies?
    Genesis is my favorite book too. A deep study of it is beneficial.

    • @SOSPainting
      @SOSPainting 5 років тому +7

      There is nothing wrong with marriage, eating, and planting (the basic functions of life). The part that is wrong in the sight of God, is when we are focused upon these things at the wrong time. When destruction is coming, we should not be absorbed in these things. We are to act according to God's moving.

      Because people forget God and take him out of the picture.
      We are to do all things for the Glory of Lord God. He is the source of all good things and we need to be grateful and focus on Him.

    • @ziggy0112
      @ziggy0112 4 роки тому +4

      Like today, a lot of people marry then divorce then marry and so on. Marriage is meant to be sacred
      Nowadays a lot of us overeat, gluttony, eating unhealthy when our bodies are meant to be looked after for it is the temple of the Holy Ghost. How are meant to do Gods work when we are physically unable to if we do not take care of our health
      A lot of us now focus more on properties, making money and so forth. There is nothing wrong with having money but when it is more loved then God, then it’s a problem
      Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you
      These are all everyday activities but when these are put before God then it’s no good

    • @kalomorris20
      @kalomorris20 3 роки тому +1

      Why did you hesitate? Ask God, he is the one who destroy and he'll tell you what's wrong with all these activities.
      KJV John 16
      13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

      So from one brother to another, I pray that you are still with Him, my Brother

    When Adam came from the Creator’s hand, he bore, in his physical, mental, and spiritual nature, a likeness to his Maker. “God created man in His own image” (Genesis 1:27), and it was His purpose that the longer man lived the more fully he should reveal this image-the more fully reflect the glory of the Creator. All his faculties were capable of development; their capacity and vigor were continually to increase. Vast was the scope offered for their exercise, glorious the field opened to their research. The mysteries of the visible universe-the “wondrous works of Him which is perfect in knowledge” (Job 37:16)-invited man’s study. Face-to-face, heart-to-heart communion with his Maker was his high privilege. Had he remained loyal to God, all this would have been his forever. Throughout eternal ages he would have continued to gain new treasures of knowledge, to discover fresh springs of happiness, and to obtain clearer and yet clearer conceptions of the wisdom, the power, and the love of God. More and more fully would he have fulfilled the object of his creation, more and more fully have reflected the Creator’s glory. {Ed 15.1}

      How is it even remotely possible that the Sabbath can still be observed according to Moses law? I would think it would require killing power to your house along with utilities...with kids is not easy..but still ..I am searching the truth in this matter and pray for mercy. For you and I

      @@josephunderwood5703 the Ten Commandments aren’t part of the Mosaic man made laws or the ceremonial laws. The SABBATH is the fourth COMMANDMENT pertaining to God written by His own finger on STONE(a symbol of something that will last forever). If you ever learned about the sanctuary and studied the tabernacle you’d know that it was a REPLICA of the Heavenly sanctuary. And what was in the most holy place??! The arc of the covenant and what was in the arc of the covenant?? THE TEN COMMANDMENTS. You seriously should consider more Bible study, and some discipleship.

      The Sabbath was enacted at Creation. Moses came almost 2 millenia later.
      The Sabbath preceded even Abraham, the ForeFather of the Jews.
      Genesis 2:2-3 (KJV) And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
      And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.
      Exodus 31:15, 17 (KJV) Six days may work be done; but in the seventh is the sabbath of rest, holy to the LORD: whosoever doeth any work in the sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death.
      It is a SIGN BETWEEN ME and the children of Israel FOR EVER: for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed.
      Exodus 20:10-11 (KJV) But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
      For IN SIX DAYS the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, AND RESTED THE SEVENTH DAY: wherefore the LORD blessed THE SABBATH DAY, AND HALLOWED IT.

      Isaiah 66:22-23 (KJV) FOR AS THE NEW HEAVENS and the NEW EARTH, which I will make, SHALL REMAIN BEFORE ME, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain.
      And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, AND FROM ONE SABBATH TO ANOTHER, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD.
      ☝️
      Even after Jesus returns, the Sabbath will be kept. What about Jesus' Prophecy that would occur after He, Jesus, resurrected and ascended to Heaven?

      Jesus' prophecy:
      Matthew 24:4, 15, 19-20 (KJV) And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
      When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)
      And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck IN THOSE DAYS!
      But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, NEITHER ON THE SABBATH DAY:
      ☝️
      Sabbath is Eternal! It is a SIGN between us and God. It is the opposite of the Mark of the Beast (which holds that Sunday is the day of worship; what would anger God so greatly to cause the most fearful of retribution judgment to be handed down? For taking another day as holy, which He did not hallow)

    If we are like the animals, made from the dust and given the breath of life and when we die we go back to dust, why then does the spirit of an animal go to the earth and the spirit of man goes upward? Ecc. 3: 19-21

    • @carettamyers13
      @carettamyers13 2 роки тому

      Man was created by God in His image, a personal action and given the 'breath of life' - a personal gift from the Creator. It returns to Him at death.
      Animals are of a lower order and were not created in God's image or given the breath of life hence, their spirit going downwards.

    We must read our Bibles to verify what preachers teach & not just take their word fir granted:
    Gen 6:3
    Then the LORD said, “My Spirit will not contend with humans forever, for they are mortal; their days will be a hundred and twenty years.” It never said that Noah preached for 120 yrs as Or Skeet said or even EGW!! Read read read

      So during the time when Noah was building the ark do you think no one asked him something to the context of, “Hey Noah what is this large massive piece of architecture that you are building?” What do you think Noah said if asked that question, “Oh this is just a habit I picked up.”
      Has God ever told you to personally go something that others around you have questioned? And if so did you tell them the truth, that God has instructed you to do so? Or did you try to lie to fit in. Those of us who reject the truth are only doing so because we do not want to die to self. We love this world and make excuses (consciously or unconsciously) to hold on to it. Lord help us to love You with our WHOLE heart.

      • Genesis 6:3
      > "Then the LORD said, 'My Spirit shall not abide in man forever, for he is flesh: his days shall be 120 years.'"
      • 1 Peter 3:18-20
      > "For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive in the Spirit. After being made alive, he went and made proclamation to the imprisoned spirits-to those who were disobedient long ago when God waited patiently in the days of Noah while the ark was being built. In it only a few people, eight in all, were saved through water."
      1. Hidden Messages and Connections
      -Divine Patience and Judgment
      - Genesis 6:3: This verse reflects God's decision to limit the lifespan of humans to 120 years due to their sinful nature. It shows His judgment on humanity's wickedness but also His patience, allowing them time to repent before the flood.
      - 1 Peter 3:18-20: Peter highlights God's patience during Noah's time, giving people an opportunity to repent while the ark was being constructed. Christ's proclamation to the imprisoned spirits signifies the extension of God's message of redemption to those who lived in Noah's time.
      2. The Role of the Spirit
      - Genesis 6:3: God's Spirit is life-giving, but He decides to limit its duration with humans due to their fleshly (sinful) nature. This withdrawal of the Spirit foreshadows the impending judgment.
      - 1 Peter 3:18-20: The Spirit plays a crucial role in Christ's resurrection. After being made alive in the Spirit, Christ proclaims to the spirits of those who were disobedient during Noah's time. This proclamation signifies the ongoing work of the Spirit in both judgment and redemption.
      3. Human Disobedience and Redemption
      - Genesis 6:3: The verse sets the stage for the flood by highlighting human disobedience. It indicates a period of 120 years during which people could have repented before the flood.
      - 1 Peter 3:18-20: Peter connects Christ's redemptive work to Noah's time, suggesting that even those who were disobedient then are not beyond the reach of Christ's message. Christ's proclamation to these spirits symbolizes hope and redemption offered to all.
      2. How Do We Know Noah Preached for 120 Years?
      - Biblical Basis: The idea that Noah preached for 120 years comes from a combination of Genesis 6:3 and the timeline provided in Genesis 6-9. Genesis 6:3 states that humanity's days will be 120 years, interpreted by some as the time given for humans to repent before the flood.
      - 2 Peter 2:5: Noah is referred to as a "preacher of righteousness," suggesting that during the time he built the ark, he also preached to the people about the coming judgment and the need for repentance.
      3. Traditional Interpretation:
      Jewish and Christian traditions often interpret the 120 years as the period during which Noah warned the people while he was building the ark. This is not explicitly stated in Genesis but is inferred from the context and the description of Noah's role.
      4. Connections:
      - Genesis 6:3: Highlights the coming judgment due to human sinfulness but also indicates a period of divine patience (120 years) before the flood.
      - 1 Peter 3:18-20: Reflects on God's patience during Noah's time, drawing a parallel with Christ's redemptive work. Christ's proclamation to the imprisoned spirits from Noah's time underscores the continuity of God's message of repentance and redemption.
      5. Hidden Messages:
      -Divine Patience:
      Both passages emphasize God's patience in the face of human disobedience.
      - Judgment and Redemption:
      They highlight the theme of judgment due to sin but also the possibility of redemption, extending even to those who lived in ancient times.
      - The Role of the Spirit:
      The Spirit is involved in both giving life and proclaiming redemption, as seen in both the pre-flood context and Christ's resurrection and proclamation.
      The connection between the passages shows the consistency of God's character and plan throughout biblical history-His justice, patience, and desire for humanity's redemption, ultimately fulfilled in Christ.
      Hope you got your answers!
