Die sind ja total in der Rolle drin. Ist er Profi geworden damit?
Nein Philippbretzler7687, leider nicht. Eines Tages kam er in den Stimmbruch und hatte danach die Rückkehr nicht geschafft bzw. in Angriff genommen. Manchmal bedauert er es.... Die Liebe zur klassischen Musik ist jedoch bis heute ein großer Teil seines Lebens und das meiner Mama geblieben.... ☺️

In diesem Video spielt und singt Elisabeth Ebert von der Komischen Oper die Partie der Pamina.
Sonja Schöner sang diese Rolle zwar auch unter Walter Felsensteins Regie, hatte jedoch eine Stimme mit ganz anderem Timbre.

I'm guessing this is in the DDR. Those three Knaben were comical with an entrance like that. They are in their late 70s as I write and I hope they had happy lives.
Так это и есть Комише опера в Берлине (бывшая Метрополитен) т.е. комическая опера. Поэтому и выглядит комично.

The soprano has an overly forward nasal sound and her singing is just a bit annoying. The three child boys are superb. Finally a timbre that is bright and vibrated versus the usual hooty mess most of the Drei Knabe have around. Their acting and movements are astoundingly effective. The sound a revelation of hope this piece absolutely needs.

Wenn man heute echte Mozartopern sehen will, muss man leider ins Ausland, meistens Osteuropa. Bei uns in D ist nur die Musik noch "alt" /original, den Rest kann man sich abschminken! Für eine gute Oper Hänsel und Gretel geht es regelmäßig nach Chemnitz.
Sehr schön, da gab es noch Stil und Geschmack und nicht so häßlich modernes Zeugs wie heute.

Über Geschmack kann man nicht streiten - Und deshalb stünde es Jedem gut an die eigene Meinung nicht zu verabsolutieren und so zu tun als wäre sie der "Weisheit alleiniger Schluß".
Gewiss ist bei dieser älteren Aufnahme die Ausstattung "schnuckelig" - Objektiv ist aber festzuhalten daß der musikalische Aspekt der Dreistimmigkeit der drei Knaben hier fehlt bzw. zu kurz kommt.

May have been Meinhard von Zallinger, if we believe the program issued by the Komische Oper Berlin for Walter Felsenstein's 1954 production of the Zauberflöte.
