@@dastackbr0z470 okay da, I'm glad you said words in the movie, but let's stay on topic. The app enabled droid D-O only beeps and boops, whether connected to the device and app or not. The words heard in the movie can only be spoken by D-O in the app through the device, connected or not. In fact, the droid will react to hearing it's voice from the device. I'll call that a win win. I thank you for your kind and eloquent feedback.
I've had this for a while now. He is difficult to control. He really should have come with a physical joystick controller with buttons for the emotions and not the app. The app makes it harder to control. He's also hard to turn since his turning radius is very wide so he doesn't turn on a dime by any stretch. His overall design makes it hard for him to stay upright without constantly falling over. You can't use him on carpet at all and any unevenness on a flat surface will make him fall over. I also didn't like how the app was impossible to find on the Play Store. It doesn't show up with the obvious search words. I had to find a link to it on a separate website. They should have made his wheel more flat since the curve of it is what makes him so unstable but I understand why they did curve it in order to make his head's weight shift from side to side to make him turn but they should have thought of a better way to have him turn. I like it and I''m going to keep mine but they really should have designed him better to make him more stable and easier to control. While the technology inside probably is the reason for the price, I'd say he's sadly not worth the money. It's too bad because I think he would have been really cool had they just thought this out better. You'd think they would have known of the instability issues from testing. Obviously they didn't care in an effort to rush it onto store shelves.
I could be wrong and I may need to watch the Rise of Skywalker again, but those sounds don't sound accurate to D-O at all. I remember him talking in the movie, but I don't remember him making other sounds.
I got one and it froze time so I had to return it

I gave this droid to my friend who likes cherries. The next day, he became a Krispy Kreme doughnut flavour.

Does time stop saying za warudo?
It's a shame it doesn't talk. As it said a few things in the film. Otherwise looks great

You're correct. In the film D-O actually talks but for some reason the toy version just has like robot bird sounds
He was really cute in the movie -I don’t think I’ll be getting him though.
Maybe the Droid was meant to be the I between D & O
Wryyyyy
I got it on Amazon for 37$
Cute hairddryer
Junk. Save your money
Or just buy the 50 dollar version that has a more stable design
