Thank you for your comment. Oracle's own FAQ suggests periodic checks, could you please share where you get this information about the two checks? I'm sure many are interested to understand the process better.
@@TechTute based on my own experience with personal account. I also have second acc that i've bought on one marketplace for $10 (stolen ofc) and i it's working fine year+ later.
@@TechTute oracle can block Free acc for using software they don't like or if you have unpaid bill. If they need resources they will just shut down machines.

@@jeremy4491 I don't think you can do it on arm out of the box. There may be a chnace runnig it on docker. I will take a look when I get some time and post back.

they randomly deleted my account around 5 days after i'd setup my minecraft java server, contacted support and same bs response. i also had a pay as you go account
@@TechTute yeah, i set up a pay as you go account so i could get the ampere instance but still staying within the always-free, i had the server running for 5 days with no players while i was setting stuff up, came back and it was suspended. oracle support said they dont know why and ended the chat. i was thinking maybe it was because the mc server was empty for a few days and little resources were being used, but even then i thought they only reclaim your instance not completely suspend your account. i also cant even create a new account because only one card is allowed per account, and there is no way to remove the card info from my old account (as far as i know)
@@watcw no that shouldn't be as I was told by oracle support that minimal utilization requirements don't apply on PAYG, its fro free account only. So when you try to create new account with new email and account name does it tell you that your card is being used by another account? Because I have two accounts on same card and never had a problem.
@@TechTute Hello, you say that you have 2 accounts (with different email obviously) and with the same card number and you have no problems? And what names did you use on the other account? Nothing happens if everything is the same and they only change the email? Can I do that by creating another account with my same name, card, etc. as is and just change my email address?
so why support doesn't fking tell you about it ? sorry for the swearing but if that is the case i don't understand why support doesn't give you the reason for termination , also thier support is very hostile when you talk to them about it , it doesn't make sense besides free tier is not really free
It's the million-dollar question, isn't it? All we seem to get from Oracle is, "It's the system's doing, nothing we can do." On the flip side, I've had no issues with my pay-as-you-go account. In my opinion, for those on the free tier, it's best to expect getting the boot anytime for any reason, and when it comes to support, don't even bother thinking about it.
It's the worst support I've ever experienced. generic response and try to close the ticket as quickly as possible. (I'm going to try to get a job there because I don't like working) lol
actually, oracle checks card only two times. during the registration and then about a month later. No checks at later dates.
