- Now that Reggae Sumfest is behind us and everyone has had time to log their experiences, what are the common take aways from the week long Reggae fest in Jamaica's second city, Montego Bay?
Lots of stories from the parties to the sound clash, not to mention the epic two-day finale;this is our official Reggae Sumfest review to include a one-on-one with the most talked about artiste of Dancehall Night, Rygin King of Montego Bay and Reggae Sumfest's boss Joe Bogdanovich.
Also what acts like Bounty Killer, Popcaan, Capleton, Wayne Marshall and Aidonia told us that you will be hearing for the very first time.
Bounty was my favorite, he gave a concert performance, and when he brought on Wayne, it was the icing on the cake.

RYGIN KING I see a lot of people here commenting that he is hype and needs to be humble. However I disagree, I see hunger, determination, confidence and most importantly the passion and love for his talent. These will allow him to exceed and deliver great music. I am proud of him and I hope he continues on the same path. Don't confuse hype with passion and confidence.

Why so many people saying hype thou? This is called confidence. If you notice, everything he has achieved, he planned it. He took the initiative to go to down sound 4 months ahead of time and told them he should be on the show and it will be great for the show if they booked him. He didn't sit and hoped for a call.
They took a chance with him and wasn't disappointed. He was initially book for a 10 pm performance because they did not think he deserved the spot of prime time. as time progressed Sumfest realized his career was growing at a exceptional rate. The growth was rapid in a short time span. That is when they decided to change his time slot.
This my people is called greatness. Him know what he is capable of and decides he is not gonna make anyone take it away from us.
Just apply it to your own lives and see if you huh achieve more.
