Most objects look like they are lit with a single point source light, casting simple shadows, with little or zero diffuse lighting of any kind. Objects in the shadow of other objects are not lit properly. This is not what I expected from a next gen game… indeed it’s worse then previous gen. Take a look at any Sony exclusive, it’s no where close. I still like infinite though, I play it regularly.

Oh yeah. There’s a small but dedicated community that plays it daily in ranked slayer and arena. As such, it’s rare to come across “noobs,” and everyone is competent at the game. I’ve played so many close games (like 49-50) in slayer back to back more so than in MCC or Halo Finite.
I liked playing H5, but looking at it now, it doesn't look like halo, it doesn't really play like halo, and it's sound is awful, at least the gameplay is still good

I love Halo 5 and I can admit that the story was hot garbage. However Halo 4s multiplayer was a horrid dumpster fire. It was a wannabe COD with loadouts and it was really really bad. Halo 5 has advanced movement but the game is extremely balanced at a competitive level and plays flawlessly. It just requires a lot more skill than what you are used to with other Halo games.

However, at the end of the day, the movement mechanics and sandbox design is still inherently Halo in design. Trick jumping has always been a part of Halo’s map traversal and skill gap, as well as map control with spawning and the use of power weapons and the map’s overall sandbox. Albeit I would claim that both H5 and H4 are Halo games that go so far up to the boundary to not cross lest they become no longer a Halo game. They really asked the question “how far can we tweak the formula without losing its inherent identity?”
