I hate folding clothes but over the years, I changed my habit.most of the time I sleep after I clean my kitchen but sometimes I'm so overwhelmed and leave it. I was sleeping very late due to UA-cam but over time I give priority to my sleep but I'm still sleeping at 11 or 11:30. I am trying to Improve. I was a very lazy person do not know due to my bad health or my procrastination but after I started watching your videos I learnt a lot and I always try to complete my work within time. On New Year's day, my daughter made a New Year's resolution for me. She wanted me to make a new variety of snacks daily. Initially I thought OMG, wat am I gonna make new every evening. Then I took it up as a challenge & checked UA-cam videos about healthy snacks. My options were limited, as my kids don't like to try something totally new. So keeping their taste choices I made a few snacks daily & they loved it. ❤ Moral - Accept challenges, they get you out of your comfort zone & make you realise NOTHING IS UNACHIEVEABLE. ❤🎉 I'm grateful to myself for thinking out of the box & achieving this New Year resolution. 😊

Hi Jaya from 2009 i started to have early dinner(6) but after pregnency everything changed for 5 years bcs i breast fed my baby till 5. Then i felt like in depression... and gained 15 kg due to improper routine... one fine day i decided to change... it was a turning point... from last 2-3 years i started healthy routine - waking up at 4.30 sleeping at 9.30 having dinner at 5.30...daily workout self care etc... now even though i am fat( reduced 10 kg) i feel sukoon😊

Hi Jaya.. Here's a tip as a thank you to your beautiful video.. A Tbsp of kabuli chana soaked along with green moong dal and 2-3 Tbsp of rice flour while grinding would help the batter hold shape even better.. Also, cast iron tawa needs more oil. I find rubbing with half an onion seasons it better just before pouring the batter on. Pls do try and let me know if it worked. :)

It led me to taking care of myself first and being consistent with exercising everyday especially walking in nature. It makes a lot of difference walking outdoors. I'm having early dinner too!and this my 3rd month of finishing my last meal for the day by 7-7.30pm. I agree with you about the health benefits and hope to maintain this healthy habit. Together with this, I try be in bed 4 hours after my dinner so that I can have 8 hours of sleep but it's a challenge to enjoy good quality sleep... I'm in menopause phase and having a good night's sleep is something I'm working on everyday. Thank you for the motivation and sharing about sleep hunger!. Wardrobe stress is definitely something I can relate to & understand so I truly appreciate the solutions you gave. Lastly, thank you for the homework and it's wonderful to see you in good health. Beautiful video, and lovely thoughts shared by you and other comments. I just want to add that I can totally relate with the struggle to organise wardrobe with the huge variety of clothes we have. It was such a pain for me too. I have now moved to the UK, and adopted a minimalist way of life, in terms of clothing. I have realised that no matter how many clothes I have, if I can’t keep them organised, then I am not going to be able to use most of them most of the time. The 80-20 rule. So I have stopped buying new clothes, unless I donate or discard older clothes. And that saves me so much time in organising stuff, maintaining wardrobe as well as deciding what to wear! 😅
Long time no see Jaya, you have made a come back with a bang I can say. I am a working woman and juggling with kids, family, office and self is very challenging. Right after getting married till today I like to seek tips from fellow women both working and home maker in a hope to find atleast something which will help me and believe it or not it has to immensely helped me to manage things and still long way to go in learning. Some habits i feel they are helpful but for some i will not be able to practice, so with a guilty feeling sometimes I let it go for not making progress or not managing something as we are not perfect and whom am I going to please other than me for that mission accomplished feeling. Lot to say but will give a pause here. Overall trying to learn something new everytime i watch a video or meet someone.
The habits that I have incorporated in my lifestyle recently are: 1. having early dinner (started following this from an early video of yours, where you had shared your night time routine) and following a proper sleep schedule. 2. decluttering my stuff to reduce chaos 3. build a daily routine and stick to that 4. Stop explaining myself and avoiding toxic relationships From the habits that you have mentioned today, I would like to adopt the idea of 1. Wadrobe management(having real painful situation with clothes😢), and 3. cleaning kitchen every night (tried a lot but failed to adopt this habit 😢) Also 1 thing I would like to point, the solutions for sleep cycle are the solutions of social media addiction.. is this correct ?
Struggling everyday to get a balance between my needs and what I need to do can be quite challenging. It is difficult to talk about our insecurities, doubts and problems with everyone. Loved it , the habit that helps me to be better version of myself is taking sometime out for myself everyday, I use it for exercise and reading book. This is something that keeps me calm even if other things don’t go accordingly.

Eating late was one of the habit I acquired after my marriage as everyone used to eat by at 12 pm and dinner by 10 or 11 pm.. And ghar ki bahu kaise kha le pehle..now I have started Eating early no matter if my husband eats or not bcz it was impacting my health alot.. Slowly I want to move to healthy eating also.. Hi Jaya from 2009 i started to have early dinner(6) but after pregnency everything changed for 5 years bcs i breast fed my baby till 5. Then i felt like in depression... and gained 15 kg due to improper routine... one fine day i decided to change... it was a turning point... from last 2-3 years i started healthy routine - waking up at 4.30 sleeping at 9.30 having dinner at 5.30...daily workout self care etc... now even though i am fat( reduced 10 kg) i feel sukoon😊

A Tbsp of kabuli chana soaked along with green moong dal and 2-3 Tbsp of rice flour while grinding would help the batter hold shape even better..
Also, cast iron tawa needs more oil. I find rubbing with half an onion seasons it better just before pouring the batter on. Pls do try and let me know if it worked. :)
On Saturdays I watch it to admire your home, you, your lessons about home and life @homehashtaglife .. on Mondays i watch it for motivation, on Wednesdays i watch it to prepare my house for weekends to enjoy the hard work.. and on Saturdays, again while enjoying my me time, i watch your videos.

I'd like to share about my health journey after a scare last March. It led me to taking care of myself first and being consistent with exercising everyday especially walking in nature. It makes a lot of difference walking outdoors.
I'm having early dinner too!and this my 3rd month of finishing my last meal for the day by 7-7.30pm. I agree with you about the health benefits and hope to maintain this healthy habit.
Together with this, I try be in bed 4 hours after my dinner so that I can have 8 hours of sleep but it's a challenge to enjoy good quality sleep... I'm in menopause phase and having a good night's sleep is something I'm working on everyday. Thank you for the motivation and sharing about sleep hunger!.
Wardrobe stress is definitely something I can relate to & understand so I truly appreciate the solutions you gave.

Beautiful video, and lovely thoughts shared by you and other comments. I just want to add that I can totally relate with the struggle to organise wardrobe with the huge variety of clothes we have. It was such a pain for me too. I have now moved to the UK, and adopted a minimalist way of life, in terms of clothing. I have realised that no matter how many clothes I have, if I can’t keep them organised, then I am not going to be able to use most of them most of the time. The 80-20 rule. So I have stopped buying new clothes, unless I donate or discard older clothes. And that saves me so much time in organising stuff, maintaining wardrobe as well as deciding what to wear! 😅
Long time no see Jaya, you have made a come back with a bang I can say. I am a working woman and juggling with kids, family, office and self is very challenging. Right after getting married till today I like to seek tips from fellow women both working and home maker in a hope to find atleast something which will help me and believe it or not it has to immensely helped me to manage things and still long way to go in learning. Some habits i feel they are helpful but for some i will not be able to practice, so with a guilty feeling sometimes I let it go for not making progress or not managing something as we are not perfect and whom am I going to please other than me for that mission accomplished feeling. Lot to say but will give a pause here. Overall trying to learn something new everytime i watch a video or meet someone.
The habits that I have incorporated in my lifestyle recently are:
1. having early dinner (started following this from an early video of yours, where you had shared your night time routine) and following a proper sleep schedule.
2. decluttering my stuff to reduce chaos
3. build a daily routine and stick to that
4. Stop explaining myself and avoiding toxic relationships
From the habits that you have mentioned today, I would like to adopt the idea of 1. Wadrobe management(having real painful situation with clothes😢), and 3. cleaning kitchen every night (tried a lot but failed to adopt this habit 😢)
Also 1 thing I would like to point, the solutions for sleep cycle are the solutions of social media addiction.. is this correct ?
Struggling everyday to get a balance between my needs and what I need to do can be quite challenging. It is difficult to talk about our insecurities, doubts and problems with everyone. Jaya your video and the way you present your views, feels like it touches something personal. It feels like talking to an old friend. I have been following you for a long time. Loved it , the habit that helps me to be better version of myself is taking sometime out for myself everyday, I use it for exercise and reading book. This is something that keeps me calm even if other things don’t go accordingly.

And ghar ki bahu kaise kha le pehle..now I have started Eating early no matter if my husband eats or not bcz it was impacting my health alot..
Slowly I want to move to healthy eating also..

As a new UA-camr and a toddler mom alongside I took a note of drawing a line between work and priorities. Yes I too follow the same with cutting the little plastic on the side of a plastic bag and have my kids doing the same . I do the same for the milk bags and wash and collect the bags to be given for recycling...I agree we all can do our bit for the environment....all together bit by bit we can have a beautiful Kahani ... not a kissa 😊

1- Body alarm always (nt on Sunday of course) 😅
2- Clean kitchen at night, from a decade r more(of course sometimes i miss it but very rare)
3- Early dinner
4- Going through the wardrobe of each of us n keep managing n declutter on the go. *not waiting for the Diwali😂
5-Shopping for the things that are needed n be useful(kitchen) rather than trending.
6- Taking me time n enjoying
7- Trying to be patient, avoid n ignore what's not in my control.
8- Things change, change is good, except it and kp moving .
9- Always u cannot b happy/sad/bore/productive/positive...right. Accept urself how u feel at the moment.
10- Self care is very important, physically, psychological, kp building good habits always pays off.
