The in-studio final bonus questions were provided (after a fashion) by Mr Blobby. Recorded guest questions were provided by Zig and Zag, Chesney Hawkes, B*Witched members Lindsay Armaou and Keavy Lynch, Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen, Vic and Bob (Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer), Linford Christie, and Charles Dance (doing a dramatic reading from the autobiography of Melanie Brown).
The children of Mitchell Brook Primary School made an appearance acting out the launch and repair of the Hubble Space Telescope. Providing the song lyric as news story segment was former BBC Nine O'Clock News presenter Michael Buerk, reporting on "I'm Too Sexy".
John Simmit and Nikky Smedley, the portrayers of Teletubbies Dipsy and Laa-Laa (respectively), appeared as mystery guests. - Комедії
One has to respect the person in the Blobby suit... That is commitment to the bit right there..
And of course as always, Charles Dance as himself...
Joe Wilkinson inside would be my guess
@@GunsNRoses87AXL He doesn't have that much energy.
@@GunsNRoses87AXL It was Barry Killerby in his last appearance as Mr Blobby, someone else took over after that.
That performer was like, “this is the most famous I’m ever going to be, I’m ’aving it”.
Edit: then Blobby came back on, and I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone upstage Jimmy. Be funnier than, sure. But actually steal the spotlight, first time.
(I like Jimmy, just ‘cos there are comedians I like more, not taking anything from him).
@GunsNRoses87AXL I wish Joe and his half brother Fabio would come on as contestants 😂
I'm an American and have never heard of Mr. Blobby, but that was some of the funniest stuff I've seen online in quite a while.
Mr Blobby bit was the absolute best part of this entire show. Just brilliant! 🤣🤣😂😂
Agree I was crying laughing
I’ve seen that Mr Blobby bit so many times and it still makes me cry with laughter.
Claudia Winkleman is a great laugher. I always liked it when she was teamed with Sean Loch telling stories about clubbing seals or some such thing.
It was funny when she was teamed with Shane Lick.
And that time he won rectum of the year
Rectum of the year wrecked me as well.
that irish/scott bloke sean loch
6:37 - I don't know exactly why, but I found Mr Blobby falling to his knees then faceplanting to be one of the funniest pieces of physical comedy I've seen in a long time! 😂
Literally crying with laughter at Mr Blobby
i am in tears laughin at mr blobby
You could have had the cream of the worlds comedians on that panel and they would have been upstaged by Mr Blobby. Absolute legendary tv icon!
I’m not sure what every comedians’ cream has to do with anything, but I enjoyed the Blobby bit. Have no clue what it was, but it was amusing.
The more I see of Claudia Winkleman, the more likeable she gets. She seems like quite a good hearted sort!
She’s bonkers in a very endearing way and if she’s given the opportunity can go off on some extremely surreal tangents. A lot more quick witted and intelligent than most people realise.
@@CycolacFan All of which are qualities I like & some of which I share ;)
@@CycolacFan And a genius when it comes to bluffing,.Close second to Sean Lock. Performance in WILTY is legendary.
Dara and Blobby were the best. Smartest man in the room cracking up at the dummest puppet. Just beautiful.
And very similar body shapes and heads of hair! 😂
Dara used to host children's TV on Irish television, so I guess he would find it risible...
I almost died laughing to Mr. Blobby in this clip. Funniest chaos I've seen in ages! I think Dara would agree.
OMG! Mr. Blobby had me completely unable to breathe!
Mr. Blobby wasn't something that ever came to Denmark, but if that's his actual voice in the show, I get why people were scared.
Ahh, Mr Blobby is an icon over here in the UK. Take a read en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mr_Blobby
He did come to Denmark too, in a show called Greven på Hittegodset
@@rambledogs2012 Good Lord, you're right. It was like a decade before I was even born, but I remember seeing clips of it last year. I've just seen some Mr. Blobby skits to educate myself. He's just as handsy in the original as in BFQ.
Dont even know who Mr. Blobby is but when Jack questioned how he was for kids ... i lost it.. Mr. Blobby's actor is funny fantastic. He played up to Jack's reaction like it was personal. Lmao
Mr. Blobby is stupid and terrifying and I absolutely love him!
I have zero clue what Mr. Blobby is but I’m just as terrified as Jack Whitehall! 😅
I cannot get enough of that Mr Blobby performance. The whole room was against him but then within minutes they were each in hysterics, just like the rest if us. Slapstick is such a hard form of comedy but damn did he not absolutely nail it!
Oh my God, Mr Blobby’s the funniest skit I’ve seen for years - I laughed so much I actually cried. Wonder if it was Steven Mulherne? His mannerisms were very like him.
I dont blame jack. I don't know what Mr Blobby is, but he's definitely nightmare fuel
"Nightmare Fuel" is exactly the term that came to mind.
I'll admit - Funny at moments...
But it would still only be comedy relief within a nightmare.
I can't believe I was allowed to watch Mr Blobby unsupervised as a child, things are starting to make a lot of sense...
If you think that is bad in Australia we had a show called 'The Aunty Jack Show'. There are some clips on YT.
I've watched Mr. Blobby about 4 times now, and it's still hilarious. One of the funniest episodes ever.
Is it just me or does Jimmy call Mr Blobby "Joe" when he's picking up the cards? 😂 Whoever made the call, perfect 🤌😅
How does the person in the Blobby costume hype themself up enough to be THIS chaotic. It's mad!
That bit at 7:31 is impeccably framed, it’s like a scene from a movie lol
Is Mr Blobby's voice modulation inspired by a thousand demons, or literally a thousand demons?
I was thinking Daleks.. but that works too.
Claudia Winkleman for the win. Every time. Full stop.
You can tell Jimmy was reluctant to kiss the one thing on set that was less human and more plastic than he was! 😂
I have never laughed harder watching big fat quiz
Everyone is so young. Where did the years go?
Thanks
Title buries the lede a bit there.
WTF ! That Mr Blobby livens up the show. I'm to old to know but i can only hope he was a smidge calmer back in the day ?
I'd love to see Blobby Live at The Apollo.😂
Gotta love Mr Blobby
According to Wikipedia, Mr. Blobby's alter ego is an actor named Paul Denson.
Mr. Blobby used to go by a different name, but I didn't bother to remember it.
It's definitely Joe Wilkinson in the Blobby suit 😆
I actually know ‘Swampy’ (though he doesn’t like that name) and could tell Dara exactly where he is, though I wouldn’t. However, since this was aired he has been back in prominence in tunnels at Euston and in Staffordshire against the horrific HS2.
The moment of the title is at 3:47 and she giggles but doesn't lose it.
Yes, and she laughs more at the impression of Nelson Mandela afterwards.
That…….. thing was popular with children in the UK?
Not just children, adults alike.
It felt like the manifestation of cocaine.
It's worth bearing in mind Jimmy Savile was also popular with children in the UK, so back in the day the judgement of people on these things was not always flawless
I can tell this is old, because Jimmy doesn't look like he has roger moores chin.
She’s laughing at his Nelson Mandela impression and I’ve totally fallen for your ploy of getting me to comment to correct you.
0:54 "...in bed."
Oh well played . If you only have one chance for fame\ notoriety , what better way to go , than upstaging Jimmy Carr . A tax dodging , smarmy entity .
I'm sure others will defend him to the hilt ,& he's a slick comedian , but I've seen the persona slip at corporate events ,& boy he downright rude to the very people who booked him to compare the event. Not , this is part of my act , rude . But genuinely obnoxious rude .
I thought Claudia was the looker on this show, but Denise aergnpsearbiaergbfgaerubgolelgh
Dara was not that funny with the repeats
Is it just me or is Mr Blobby the least funny, most annoying thing to grace our TV screens?
SHIT! Get Scary Spice to pen a Tory manifesto!
She’s laughing at his Nelson Mandela impression and I’ve totally fallen for your ploy of getting me to comment to correct you.
