The 64-65 Worlds Fair was a beautiful and magical place, so many wonderfull things to see and experience. It made a lasting impression on me my whole life. I'll never forget the big green Sinclair Dinosaur or the beautiful GM and Ford pavilions or the first Mustang I ever saw at the Ford Pavilion. A different place and time....I'm 65 and I miss my Mom and Dad so much.....
We toured the World's Fair on school vacation in April of 1964. My Dad let me "drive" the brand-new maroon 1964 Falcon convertible through the Ford exhibit - quite a thrill for a 7 year old!
What a times! The music is funny. I am watching this because I just read the book Lee Iacocca Autobiography of a winner. It has 20 pages which relate the plannification and the release of this car in April 1964.
My Parents let me sit behind the wheel and pretend that I was driving the new Ford Mustang... I was just eight years old.... Went on to have owned 12 of them...
@@cinepost Most definitely... I've had a lot of 60's-80's pony/ mussel cars....Ford's - GM Plymouth.... But always had a soft spot for those early Mustangs. All because of that one Ride at the World's Fair

Are the Wilsons related to the Wilson whose wife cheated with Tom Buchanan in "Great Gadsby?"
I wonder how the mustang became so ugly in the 80s
Smog controls.
