This plug in does not require UAD mic right? I just see it for the first time. I wish it would be dropped for Spark 😢 Thank for the video whit full of knowledge!
the first thing that came to my mind when i opened the video was: this mix is to bright, but after a couple of minuts i realized that it was becouse of the mix note and the vibe from that era... i understand the effor to serve the vision of the artists/producer, but for you personally Ms. Dupont, do you its to much or its ok?
Very nice mix! I just find the snare rim shots a bit too unnatural with that high amount of reverb. They poke out a bit too much (maybe too much volume?)
Sounds nothing like Motown... Sorry FAB. That reverb is the death of this. The mix, 5k 7k... that sounds like FAB, not like motown. But yeah... I guess mixing is a dying art :))
Fab should know better than to try spin this marketing yarn. I would argue that he does in fact know the 'Motown Sound' is not in equipment or recording spaces but in the soul of the people and the city of Detroit. Do better, Puremix.
The microphone has 2 sides of the capsule, they record does 2 sides on 2 different tracks. So you can change polar patterns after the recording is done. There is also a emulation of many well known microphones so you can pick and choose the right microphone also after the recording is done👍
2022 sounds fantastic but 1967 got the vibe, thanks Fab and UA
Absolute chills hearing these guys play, singer is unreal!
This is easily one of the best videos for mixing live on the tube. Well done. Amazing
I love working with LUNA. It’s now my main Daw I use. Thanks Fab for this experience with this motown sound.
Incredible session, thanks so much Fab and @UniversalAudio. Really appreciate your Croz story, RIP Croz...
Man I havent seen Fab in a long long time... Totally didnt recognize him at first haha

Ok, subtle vibe, but man that autotune is horrid for this genre
Haven’t watched fab in a while. WTH happens to his hair? Looks ridiculous. Lol.
He's being an individual and preventing himself from being bland.
hair =)))

what does that mic plug-in do? It's confusing to say the least.
It emulates famous mics. So you use the UA mic to record and “re emulates” the source into one of the many expensive mics that are modeled.

@@willieandersson much better reply haha
the ugliest color palette I’ve ever seen in a daw
Go away Fab. You are not very fab. try to get your own sound. Quit trying to steal the past.
