As always, a bigot who doesn't know history.Jews only were in the business of lending money, because there was a social stigma against it, and someone had to fill the people's need to borrow money. This is no different than, how certain casts in India or other countries are looked down upon, because they butcher meat, and there is a stigma associated with handling anything dead, in some cultures. Truth is, Many Jews got into the art, film, and TV industries, because much like many Gay folks, it was the only job they could get and be themselves. Fact is, some Jews who survived the Nazi Death Camps, went on the Freedom Rides, organized by Bayard Rustin, the the out Black Gay man, who also organized MLK JRs, March on Washington. Accompanying them were, Japanese who had been held in American Internment or as I should say, concentration camps, Latinos, Whites, and of course Blacks, they rode buses throughout the South to protest segregation at bus stations android rest stops. One of the buses with Bayard and some college students board, was set on fire by the Klu Klux, Klan. So, before you continue to shout out your ignorance and hate, just be aware that, it's in the best interest of the 1%' to keep all the various segments of American society separated and fighting amongst ourselves, so we will be too distracted to see them rob us of our country. Let's not forget how the news reporters in LA kept talking about Korea Town better watch out for Blacks looting and rioting, to focus the anger of people towards Korea Town, and away from the well of White neighborhoods, where the case was tried. It's interesting how they talk about genuinely caring for each other and still being friends because these bits of trivia from IMDB suggest otherwise: In a 1978 People magazine article, Marcia Strassman stated that she did not get along with Gabe Kaplan and that she disliked working on the series. She tried to be released from her contract by publicly lambasting Kaplan. The rift split up the cast as Lawrence Hilton-Jacobs and Robert Hegyes sided with Kaplan and Ron Palillo sided with Strassman. John Travolta remained friendly with both. Palillo stated that he was happy when Kaplan left the series after the third season. And this: Marcia Strassman (Julie Kotter) said she hated working on this show. She said her character was very boring and sumissive, and in particular she hated working with Gabe Kaplan who she said was very temperamental and difficult to work with. She expressed her displeasure to the press when she was on the show, saying she hopes it gets canceled. Ironically, now it's the main thing she's remembered for.
I remember having a crush on her even when no one acknowledged her. I thought she was the hottest thing. absolutely saddened to her of her passing. she was such a stunning lady. I'm so sad to hear of any of their passings, but quite honestly wouldn't be heartbroken by John's.
The theme song "Welcome Back" was written, and performed, by John Sebastian of the Lovin' Spoonful. It even reached number 1 on the "Billboard Hot 100" chart for a week.
Some have passed away which is sad a lot of shows have been brought back. Like full house. Which to me cant compare to welcome back it’s boring let’s bring. It back. No
We got along back then, folks. People of different ethnic backgrounds could actually have fun & get along - don’t tell me it wasn’t like that because our neighborhood was a perfect example. Wish the hate we see on the media everyone has pushed down our throats would stop for good.
You happened to live in that type of pocket area in the country. Not all places have diversity & because of those non-diverse demographics, there is much more prejudice & discrimination in those areas.
Favorite line from the first episode of WBK - My name is Freddy 'Boom-Boom' Washington. "Boom-Boom"? You play basketball? No, I just like doing this (miming playing the base humming 'boom-boom-boom-boom')
I loved Welcome Back Kotter! Loved Vinnie Barbarino! Good times! Great memories! It was great growing up during this time, wouldn’t change it even if I could.❤️
I just noticed Robert Hegyes standing directly behind John Travolta. I didn't recognize Robert with that big gray afro! It's too bad Ron Palillo was too ill to attend this reunion. Marcia Strassman still looks great! R.I.P., Ron Palillo, Robert Hegyes & John Sylvester White.

The interviewer should have gone around so everyone gets a chance to speak. I really wanted to hear from Juan. He only got to speak once and it didn’t seem like the interviewer was interested. If you call it a reunion, let’s us hear from everyone.
Love this show to death... actually have it on dvd. Ron Palillo was not happy with the show. He was a trained Shakespearean actor, and did not appreciate the lowbrow comedy, even though it made him a star. But, I read that somewhere 20 years ago. He may have changed his mind about that, I don't know. I was glad to see JT there. I live in Ocala, Fl...his adopted home. We hear stories of JT sightings all over the place! LOL
I don’t think John needs to hog the show, he WAS the show! Their all still good friends anyway, some just didn’t make it as big time as John did but he doesn’t treat them any different 👍
@ Brian Clarke I was searching the comments to see if anyone else notice how Travolta hog the scene. I wanted to hear from the others as well. Well I guess Travolta is what you call a real SWEAT HOG 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I don’t think so! The whole cast was good! I believe because he was so popular with the young ladies, they made him be in more scenes, which I doubt any girls minded 🥰

Every Tuesday night Happy Days at 8 with WBC at 8.30. We were all glued to the TV screen. Some fun times. Too bad we took good shows like this for granted, compared to the crap that passes for tv today. Like the old saying, you don't know what you had till it's gone.
Yeah, it tells you something when we're here on youtube watching 25+ year old shows instead of watching the garbage that's on now. The old shows were entertaining and funny without being overly violent, sexual, or gross.
Paso Parent Heck, I still remember parental discretion advised for the episode in which a girl said she was pregnant and one of the sweathogs was responsible. I think today we see that stuff on Saturday morning cartoons.
yeah, loved Happy Days and all the shows back then. Many yrs later I met Mr. C!!! A great guy, never knew I'd meet someone on the show. He bought a pair of Mephistos from me. They're probably the best hand-made walking shoes, available...
Arnold was my fave Sweathog. I didn't find any of the others comical. Ron Palillo played the part beautifully. I could see him being the son of Edith Bunker.
How sad, now we lost 2 sweathogs. Horshack (Ron Palillo) died today. "That was ver-ry impressive, Mister Kotter-r-r!" Thanks for the laughs Arnold... RIP 10:24 am 8-14-12
I actually saw Lawrence Hilton-Jacobs at Walgreens last month as I was checking out & he was entering the store. No one recognized him but me. I'd asked the lady behind me did she remember that show she said no but she'd ask her husband. about it. I wanted to say something to him but didn't want him to feel like I was bothering him. I immediately called one of my friends & told her he was in the store & she said "really, are you gonna say something to him?" I told her didn't wanna bug him, then she said "he may appreciate the fact that you recognize him especially at your age". My Mom use to lovvve Welcome Back Kotter so my brother & I grew up watching it. 📺
My mother-in-law met and chatted with John Travolta back in the 80s when they were both at a Long Island pharmacy waiting for their prescriptions to be filled. She said that he was very kind, and fun to speak with. She is now 96 years old and to this day, whenever his name comes up, she says the same thing..... "OHH, that JOHN TRAVOLTA.....!!"
I don't think people who didn't live through those times can realize what a phenomenon John Travolta was. He's just an old pole-smoker now, but there was a time when every man wanted to be him and every woman wanted to be with him.
My friends and I used to drive around blasting his cassette tape "Let Her In" lmao, found it at a music store for 10 cents....it's funny how the perception of so many celebrities changes when they are around for so many decades. I think the episode of That 70s Show where Kelso is trying to act in the stock boy training video and won't stop doing his best Travolta is a good taste of what Travolta Fever was like back then
he was the Man for years. Still like him and respect him but it' a new time, new younger men taking those roles. But not one other actor in History could have done Grease and Saturday Night Fever and had them be, still today part of American Culture. He was born for those roles.
R.I.P. Ron, Robert and Marcia. Thanks for all the laughs! 70's sitcoms were absolutely timeless, and Welcome Back Kotter was no exception!

She expressed her displeasure to the press when she was on the show, saying she hopes it gets canceled. Ironically, now it's the main thing she's remembered for.
Amazing! Awesomeness! Welcome back Kotter was the golden age of network television!
4:10 Wow! Marcia Strassman looks great!
+Robert Gift She did........
Totally!!!!!!!!!!!
Yeah. Especially considering that she was battling breast cancer at that point. Sadly though, she died of it later in 2014.
wow, I'm sorry I didn't even know that.
I remember having a crush on her even when no one acknowledged her. I thought she was the hottest thing. absolutely saddened to her of her passing. she was such a stunning lady. I'm so sad to hear of any of their passings, but quite honestly wouldn't be heartbroken by John's.
This makes me want to watch this show again. I have fond memories of watching it with my parents.
One of my favorite shows. Did I ever tell you about my uncle Eddie?
loved that show and miss these good shows
NOW LAWRENCE HILTON JACOBS DID SOME CRAZY STUFF ON THIS SHOW!!!
I loved this show. I had a crush on Lawrence Hilton Jacobs. I wrote to the show in 9th grade and I believe they sent me a cast photo.
I had such a crush on Julia Kotter. She's aged beautifully. Still awesome.
Julie?
Damn your right, she looks better now.
@@elvis616 passed away in 2014. RIP.
Couldn’t have said it better ! Nobody can beat John Travolta 💖 He’s a kind, loving husband and father and cares about people 👍 Love My Johnny 🥰🎶🔥
Bring back the good old days i love It and i love all of them..☺☺☺☺☺👍👍👍👍👍👍.....
It back. No
Someone forgot to tell Marcia Strassman that you're supposed to look older after 35 years
We got along back then, folks.
Favorite line from the first episode of WBK -
My name is Freddy 'Boom-Boom' Washington.
"Boom-Boom"? You play basketball?
No, I just like doing this (miming playing the base humming 'boom-boom-boom-boom')
I like;
Dear Mr. Kotter,
Please excuse Juan from school yesterday because he had a very important appointment. Signed...... Juan Epstein's Mother
I loved Welcome Back Kotter! Loved Vinnie Barbarino! Good times! Great memories! It was great growing up during this time, wouldn’t change it even if I could.❤️
Boom boom was my absolute favourite, then Horshack, then Vinnie. They all deserved superstardom.
I love that show ! How I miss it brings me back to great memories of my times when I was in Jr. High School.
Hay John let the uther peepl talk
I just noticed Robert Hegyes standing directly behind John Travolta. I didn't recognize Robert with that big gray afro! It's too bad Ron Palillo was too ill to attend this reunion. Marcia Strassman still looks great!
R.I.P., Ron Palillo, Robert Hegyes & John Sylvester White.
i loved and still love this show..these guys were hilarious..all of them..i do not give a damn about their personal life..i love them no matter what..people dont know whats funny anymore..they too busy judging them..to the ones making negative remarks..who are you to judge? get a life. and i still like john travolta.
Absolutely adored this show all the way from Melbourne, Australia. Great times.
Im glad Mr Travolta is humble to reunite with his cast!!!!
So humble, he hogged all the audio time.
@@justafanintexas7913 could be the way they edited it.
Ultraviolet Morgan - No, I've seen the original version.
Underworld Films so true most “stars” of these shows never return for a reunion...RIP Penny Marshall never did..among a few others.
@@zelldria1 - She actually attended 2 before her directing work made it difficult for her to make the other 3. My wife and i attended one and met her and Cindy Williams.
OMG!!! This is so outstanding! I grew up watching this funny show Mr. Kotter still looks great here. Sad to hear about those that have already left us. May they RIP.
Mrs Kotter still looks gorgeous
Dablkwid0w2008 beautiful lady R.I.P. Marsha Staussman.
I was raised on this show…they touched all topics and gave me many laughs…ty ty ty
The interviewer should have gone around so everyone gets a chance to speak. I really wanted to hear from Juan. He only got to speak once and it didn’t seem like the interviewer was interested. If you call it a reunion, let’s us hear from everyone.
It was a terribly done reunion. Forget about everyone else, let's just hear from Travolta.
LOL
Travolta was an attention hog and the show only wanted to concentrate on him. I really really wanted to hear more from Hedges.
The FANS made the writers give Travolta more camera time.
I don’t think so! The whole cast was good! I believe because he was so popular with the young ladies, they made him be in more scenes, which I doubt any girls minded 🥰
I agree 100%. Travolta couldn't STFU long enough for any of the other cast members to get a word in. Geez...
Timelessness. Travolta's daughter was right on the mark. Reruns of this show are far better than some of the new crap that's on TV today.
Welcome back Kotter was one of the ALL-TIME greats in classic TV, A superb show!
I think today we see that stuff on Saturday morning cartoons.
tarheelveteran I remember that episode!!!
Aimee Ward in the Midwest it was on @ 7 & 730pm
yeah, loved Happy Days and all the shows back then.
Ron fangirl here!
I love epstien to this day!!
So nice to see you all 💗 especially my Travolta 💋 Blessings to all 🙏💕
John talk less listen more. EGO!!
Travolta sucks! The only good thing he ever did was Vinnie Barbarino Piss off you talentless ass..
How sad, now we lost 2 sweathogs. Horshack (Ron Palillo) died today. "That was ver-ry impressive, Mister Kotter-r-r!" Thanks for the laughs Arnold... RIP 10:24 am 8-14-12
gabe still looks the same without the mustache. i loved welcome back kotter you just dont see shows like this on tv these days.
I own the box sets for ALL of my childhood favorites. This, What’s Happening?, Dif’rent Strokes & Good Times! I’m constantly rotating them out lol 😂
Kotter, Washington and Barbarino are the only ones left.
Travolta too
Travolta = Barbarino.
@@reagandeleon1557 Iam an old whipper snapper.. Amnesia
@@moeanthony9308 I did not watch the show, and I know that Travolta is Barbarino.
@@moeanthony9308 Isn't a whipper snapper a young person? How can you be an old whipper snapper? Are you an old young person?
Welcome back Kotter was a fantastic show!!!
Classic show. Classic cast!
More like an interview with John Travolta
That was the interviewers fault. He should have asked individual questions instead of all group questions.
I had a Welcome Back Kotter lunchbox in first grade!
I had a Pele one
OMG This brings back so many memory's I miss them classic shows
I don't think people who didn't live through those times can realize what a phenomenon John Travolta was.
I think the episode of That 70s Show where Kelso is trying to act in the stock boy training video and won't stop doing his best Travolta is a good taste of what Travolta Fever was like back then
poke smoker. ha haaa
Thanks to Grease!!
he was the Man for years. Still like him and respect him but it' a new time, new younger men taking those roles. But not one other actor in History could have done Grease and Saturday Night Fever and had them be, still today part of American Culture. He was born for those roles.
whats a "pole-smoker"?
One of my favorites, still watch reruns with my kids ❤
