The Pan am the road King and a heritage I especially like all the color options on the heritage its looking really sharp this year, I was surprised that the fat boy caught my eye I really do actually like the new wheels, and I've always been a sucker for that new beefy fat Bob 🤷♂️ It's hard to choose just one
@@MickJacobsen Nice catch I wasn’t sure if anybody would pick it up. Unfortunately I don’t know anything about this except it was in press Photos. I’m not sure if it was dropped as an option after pictures were taken or what but it’s not the only color that appears in photos but not on the website. Last year there were some colors on models that were shipped they did not match the website as well
I wish HD the best, but there ain't no way I'm trading my old EVO powered Heritage Softtail for any of these new bikes! Too many "new and improved " crap on them! Good looking rides, just don't need all the electric stuff, it's just more stuff to replace or break on you! Don't need need the monster motors, you can only go so fast and still be safe!
I know what you mean, I still have an evo in my shop, People comment that HD needs to make a Bigger Rev Max engine for the Baggers and maybe a little bigger to get more TQ but it is already 120-150 HP and 94 TQ depending on the version with 1250cc. I don't think they need a 1800cc version... I have rode the Pan America and it is fast...
Good job Mike on updating us! 👍👍 I personally have way too much $$$ and sweat into my built TCs (16 Streetglide and 17 Dyna LRS) to let em go for something new, but always cool to see whats new from the moco. I do like the PA and it very well may be an addition to the garage if I replace my aging ADV Super Tenere 1200 when they get reliability dialed in on em.
I like HD bike a lot. So, I went to visit a local HD dealership and they wanted to charge me a lot over MSRP. So, I eventually bought a 1/12 scale model and I have become a happy owner now ever since.
The Heritage is named Heritage for a reason. It should harken back to yester year. The salad bowl/hubcap doesn't look right blacked out or on a cast wheel. In fact, in the pictures on the HD website, it is removed from the pictures below the description.
I have a 2017 street glide special and I really don’t see anything new other than paint. The M8 no matter the cubic inches is the same thing nearly 6 years later. Be fore that I had a 96 ci road king and I loved it, now my wife has a 2019 Honda Goldwing automatic and it’s a dream on the highway I must say. I think HD knows what they need to do, since introducing the Revolution Max engine in 2 bikes there is not going back or the continued production of 1950’s/1960’s hot air cooled motors.
I want another 1981 Super Glide FXE and I want it in a root beer color only a bit lighter and so far in my Quest, I think Id have better luck trying to track down a Sasquatch .But I have to say these new bikes do look nice. I like the Sporties best, my old age brain likes to see the rear shocks ,they fill in the back of the bike. I cant get used to that uni-shock thing. Great video by the way.
Tank and front wheel look out of tune, but need to see up close on the soft tail standard. Some of the new technology is cool but it"s our perception of road conditions that keep us safe or safer. Relying on just technology could be costly and more things to fix. Own a new XL1200X 48 a fun and good looking bike even if has a shitbox transmission.
I'm still pretty happy with my FLSTFB 103. Not really sold on the new models. That said mine isn't stock, still have the solid wheels, for now. I've seen 1 of the new models that was customed that I've actually liked
Great info thanks , still waiting for a all new touring chassis with better suspension, liquid cooled engine , modern electronics and lighting that doesn’t break the bank , high hopes i think .
I have owned 5 Fatboys and I like the new wheels and im glad they got rid of the cheesy fake fuel cap but I still dont like the 240mm rear tire. I purchased a 2018 model and rode it for 3 years and never did like the way the fat rear tire handled so I sold it and found a 2016 Model Fatboy that Like MUCH better 👍
I rode a 2021 and hated the way it handled too. If you live somewhere that has flat straight roads it might not be as bad but seemed terrible to me in the twistie ozarks.
Yep, to me the Fat Boy now looks like it's lost a few pounds with the new wheels - not a good look IMO. Solid discs were made for that bike. I'm sure Arnie would agree.
The Lowrider S I’m hearing will have a 117. I’m wondering if that’s a Lowrider S CVO model. I’m also hearing rumor that there will be some type of touring version of the Lowrider S. I’ve ridden CVO models several times which had the 117. At Daytona Bike Week each year, I’ve ridden everything I could get my hands on, including CVO’s. I’ve been to Demo Days at various dealerships. And, I nearly bought a CVO last year. I do like the 117. But, let’s be honest, the 114 is a great engine too. A 114 with stage 2 will outrun a stock 117 and that’s what I have now. The 107 doesn’t have the top end the 114 has. I see they have 1 bike with the 883, 1 bike with the 1200 and 3 bikes with the 107. It will be interesting to see what other bikes they come out with which have the new revolution max engine. My guess is they will introduce 2 new models this year with this new engine.
I am wondering if this Low Rider S Touring version is a going to be a production model, limited edition like the artic blast or could they try and market it as an icon model of some kind? And if so what Iconic Model is it supposed to represent?
Not available in US now as far as we know, is available in some markets still like Europe... I expect something more official on the 26th that might even say which markets...
Tell the KTM 1290 Super Duke that V-Twins are outdated, 177 hp. I am not saying all V-twins are created equal but The new V-Twin Rev Max engine is pulling 150 hp from 1250 cc. Regardless I don't see HD switching to a V4 anytime soon.
I own an M8 RGS, and a twin cam FatBoy. The FB is my favorite just to look at, and in my humble opinion is the most handsome motorcycle ever built. The M8 FatBoy has grown on me and now I want one, but will never part with my twin cam. Now…..the tank badge for some reason has been the coolest thing about the FatBoy, maybe because I’m a retired combat pilot but the thing that I was most proud of riding my FatBoy around was the “USA” on the badge. I don’t mind the single wing design, but WHY did they delete that beloved “USA”??????
The fatboys since the early ones are only good to look at unless you only go down straight roads. That big ass tire makes it handle like shit. My cousin has an 18, and it doesn't wanna turn for shit. My uncles 93 handles like a dream.
I don’t understand why Harley couldn’t leave the fat boy alone the wheels look horrible the badge looks like they broke the one wing off they took the gas cap off of the one side of the tank that looks dumb i’m sorry that I didn’t buy a 2021 fat boy and I waited to see what they were going to do the 22 now I’m sorry I’m looking for a 21 right now if I don’t find one find one I won’t be buying a Harley.
There’s not one Harley Davidson motorcycle that I like anymore I did like the fat Boy until they put slots in the rims you have motorcycles for one riders or big ultracruisers for fat old men this is the worst year I’ve ever seen Harley Davidson I hope they come out with new models if not I’m going to buy an Indian
hate the copycat high pipe look. low pipes scream tradition. high pipes look out of place on a HD. They gotta compete with Indian but do it the traditional HD way. It's worked for 115+ years.
I went from an Evo Sportster to a bigger Harley. I wasn't impressed with the big twin (lack of) reliability and need for "fixes" to factory flaws compared to the Sportster, not to mention the added expenses. Unless Harley starts making SIMPLE, reliable, affordable machines like the Evo Sportster again I won't be buying anymore new Harleys. I can even deal with adding water cooling and a more EPA-friendly tune and noise restrictions but I can't deal with these overpriced, overcomplicated, non-user-friendly, bloated motorcycles. Less is more.
