Centre pocket loser using the Lindrum ‘magic circle’ in English Billiards by Rob Hall

This is a great practice stroke for both cueing and object ball control. Playing a thicker than half ball contact you send the red from the ‘magic circle’ straight up and down the spots and back into the ‘magic circle’ leaving you the same shot again.
Using the ‘magic circle’ as a target area was most famously used by the great Walter Lindrum.
