    I respect the argument put forward, that Paul’s worldview seems more Greco-Roman (i.e. gnostic) than true Judaism, esp. with regard to 1 Corinthians 15:44 which talks of the natural body dying and then being raised a spiritual body - which Paul then says is better.
    I am hoping that Paul was just meaning that while on this side of dying we are beset with the corruption that indwells us, but later we will be of a different form, which is not corruptible.
    i.e. I am hoping he used the term ‘spirit’ to just indicate a different form.
    Ezekiel talks of being transported in a way that defies science laws if our bodies continue to be the same. i.e. “And he (YHWH) put forth the form of a hand, and took me by a lock of my head. And the Spirit lifted me up between the earth and the heavens, and brought me to Jerusalem - in the visions of Elohim - to the opening of the inner gate facing north.” Ezekiel 8:3
    However, this may have just been a vision.
    Anyway, I agree, 1 Corinthians does sound gnostic, which is very ‘unTenakhy’ (if I may invent such a word without implying disrespect).
    For example, Job talks of being in a body after death. He says “For I know that my Redeemer is living, and he shall rise on the earth at the last; and even after they corrupt my skin, yet this: in my flesh shall I see God.” Job 19:25-26
    Yes - a good argument of the Rabbi.
    (I’m still Messianic, though. I’m still certain Yeshua is the promised Redeemer.)

    • @ToviaSinger1

      ‘unTenakhy’! Brilliant. There is no resurrection Ezekiel's experience. Conversely, the resurrection in Ezekiel 37 is physical.

      @@ToviaSinger1 Hi Rabbi. I’ve sorted out my confusion - so I suppose you can’t say “brilliant” anymore. I’m sorry. (I was genuinely confused.)
      I talked about the contended gnosticism of Paul in 1 Corinthians chapter 15 with my friends on at our Saturday Bible study.
      (It’s so good to have fellowship on Sabbath!)
      The answer lies in verse 49 of this chapter, and especially with the word ‘also’.
      “And as we bore the image of the earthly man, we shall ALSO bear the image of the heavenly man.” 1 Corinthians 15:49
      Paul is not inferring a disseminated spirit as the gnostics infer. He means a regeneration of our inner spirit inside. This new spirit is ALSO. It is WITH the earthly man body, not instead of it.
      And this is exactly in sync with the Tenakh.
      e.g. In 1 Samuel 16:14, we read how “the Spirit of YHWH departed from Saul and an evil spirit from YHWH terrified him.” Saul still had his body.
      I then contended with my friends about Paul’s authenticity. They said that the book of Hebrews is wrong because it contradicts previous Scripture. They reminded me that Paul, himself, never contradicted previous Scripture. It is just that when he argues against the customs being a legalistic road to salvation that he has been misrepresented/mistranslated to be saying that the Torah is ‘legalism’ and should be done away with. Paul never said this! Indeed, we are saved by YHWH’s grace, as Paul’s stated, but we need to also be obedient to our owner - YHWH - just as the covenant has always been.
      This is shown in the book of Acts - when the Spirit was given..
      “And we are his witnesses of these things, and also God’s Spirit, which God gave to those obeying him.” Acts 5:32
      The terms of this obedience are outlined in the Torah, plus, as Yeshua added (paraphrased), “Show more kindness, and tell people that the future door has been opened to the obedient.”
      I still like listening to you.
      You make me think. I like that.
      (The whole concept of our creation is so overwhelming, but it’s true! It’s the true reality!) Thanks again.

      @@christophermarlowe2356 Hi DSS. It's all good, but thanks for the support. You are a friend.
      As I've just written to the Rabbi, I've now sorted it out. Before Rabbi's talk, I was sure that Paul was un-gnostic, but then reading 1 Corinthians chapter 15 after his talk, I got confused. As I just wrote in my reply to Rabbi Singer, Paul isn't praising the creation of a disseminated spirit (i.e. this is the concept of Gnosticism). Paul is talking of God's spirit replacing our evil one inside our bodies. As Peter wrote, sometimes Paul can be misunderstood.
      (It's so good to have fellowship with friends who can help me when I get confused.)
      Anyway - getting back to 'What's in a Name' - have you ever checked out why the ordering of the Israeli tribes in the wilderness walk, the tribulation and the millennial kingdom are different? (I used to be told that certain tribes were missing because of punishment. LOL) Answer - it's so the story created by their name meanings matches what's happening! (I love the way the Shemites write these stories!)
      Here’s the marching order of the tribes of Israel in the wilderness. Again, to get the hidden message, you just read the name meanings.
      Judah = May God be praised!
      Issachar = He will bring a reward,
      Zebulun = a permanent home.
      Reuben = See, a son.
      Simeon = Hear
      Gad = a troop and success.
      Ephraim = Causing me to be fruitful,
      Mannaseh = (and) forgetting sorrow.
      Benjamin = The son of the right hand
      Dan = (God) judges me.
      Asher = happiness comes
      Naphtali = out of my struggle.
      During the tribulation, we get a different ordering.
      Just read the meanings.
      Judah = May God be praised!
      Reuben = See, a son.
      Gad = (with) a troop and success.
      Asher = Happiness comes
      Naphtali = out of my struggle.
      Mannaseh = (causing) forgetting sorrow.
      Simeon = Hear
      Issachar = He will bring a reward,
      Zebulun = a permanent home.
      Joseph = adding/as well as
      Benjamin = The son of the right hand
      In the kingdom, to come, the order is different again ..
      Dan = (God) has judged (or judges) me.
      Asher = Happiness comes
      Naphtali = out of my struggle.
      Mannaseh = (causing) forgetting sorrow.
      Ephraim = (and) causing me to be fruitful,
      Reuben = See, a son.
      Judah = May God be praised!
      Benjamin = The son of the right hand
      Simeon = Hear
      Issachar = He will bring a reward,
      Zebulun = a permanent home.
      Gad = (with) a troop and success.
      So - that's why Ya'acov/Israel had to have so many sons! ... So, he could explain what's going to happen better! I love the way the Son of the right hand seems to come with a troop in the tribulation and then he brings the reward, which is a permanent home.
      (The Shemites are marvellous! Luv 'em.)

    Now as an adult (32) I find myself with this incredible urge to just do things right.. The way G-d wants...
    I have to say yes my whole family are christians and catholics and they look at me weird because I dont eat pork and other things.. (they say I can but I just can't unread what ive read in the Bible or push it away..) I just can't.
    Anyway the reason I am reaching out to you is because I want to come back home.. Ive never fit in to any other culture groups my family married into.. Ive told my husband so many times that I just dont identify with any of them, but I do identify with the jewish people... I just don't know where to start.. My observation is that Paul was very likely a highly hellenized Jew who loved Hellenism more than Judaism, he was ashamed of his Yidishkite, and wanted his followers to fit in to a highly hellenized world rather than to be authentically Jewish. He feared and appeased popular opinion, Greek thought, and social norms of the time more than the desire to be authentically Jewish. He abandoned Jesus' actual teachings and created his own highly hellenized ones that were more palpable for the masses (watered down)... He discarded Nazarene Judaism and invented a Hellenized Christianity.

    Pharisees were separated to the holiness of the LORD. Paul claimed he was born into a Pharisaic family: Now when Paul perceived that one part were Sadducees and the other Pharisees, he cried out in the council, “Brothers, I am a Pharisee, a son of Pharisees. It is with respect to the hope and the resurrection of the dead that I am on trial.”, Acts of the Apostles 23:6 ESV. Paul was born an Israelite: he was [5] circumcised on the eighth day, of the people of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of Hebrews; as to the law, a Pharisee; [6] as to zeal, a persecutor of the church; as to righteousness under the law, blameless. [7] But whatever gain I had, I counted as loss for the sake of Christ, see Phillippians 3 ESV. When Paul defended himself against the Jews before King Agrippa in Ceasarea, he said, [4]“My manner of life from my youth, spent from the beginning among my own nation and in Jerusalem, is known by all the Jews. 5] They have known for a long time, if they are willing to testify, that according to the strictest party of our religion I have lived as a Pharisee. 6] And now I stand here on trial because of my hope in the promise made by God to our fathers, 7] to which our twelve tribes hope to attain, as they earnestly worship night and day. And for this hope I am accused by Jews, O king! 8 Why is it thought incredible by any of you that God raises the dead?
    9] “I myself was convinced that I ought to do many things in opposing the name of Jesus of Nazareth. 10] And I did so in Jerusalem. I not only locked up many of the saints in prison after receiving authority from the chief priests, but when they were put to death I cast my vote against them. 11] And I punished them often in all the synagogues and tried to make them blaspheme, and in raging fury against them I persecuted them even to foreign cities"Acts 22:4-5, see Acts of the Apostles 26 ESV. Compare Paul's defence in Hebrew at the entrance of the Roman barracks, Acts of the Apostles Chapter 22 and the stoning of the Elder Stephen, Acts 7:54-60 and the advice of Gamaliel (Pharisee and teacher of the law) to the council of the High Priest and Sadducess, Acts 5:34-39.

The most determined religious enemies of Christianity were the Pharisees. And you doubt that Paul (Saul) had been one. Really?

    Otherwise stated, the answer to a superstitious resurrection ---- if anyone wanted Jesus' doctrine--- is in the words, "NEW WINE IS NOT COMING IN OLD VESSELS". But the doctrine "of the world--666" is both the antithesis of reality and Jesus' Prophecy.

    The whole Tanach speaks about the messiah, who will come and be the savior for Israel and all the nations.
    In 5. Mose 18:15 It says "God will raise up a Prophet like Moses and everybody shall listen to him."
    In Psalm 2 It says "Kiss the son." Which son ? The answer is in proverbs 30 "Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? who hath gathered the wind in his fists? who hath bound the waters in a garment? who hath established all the ends of the earth? what is his name, and what is his son's name, if thou canst tell?" Its about the son of God, who came down on this earth to die for our sins so we can have eternal life with God and set us free from sin to show us how we should live in the torah. Now take a minute for yourself and read Isaiah 53 and ask God in prayer Who is it speaking about ?
    Do you have a son ? He will answer your question when you are hungry for the truth. :)

    It would serve you to read and understand the Acts of the Apostles.
    Acts 6:
    9 Then there arose some from what is called the Synagogue of the Freedmen (Cyrenians, Alexandrians, and those from Cilicia and Asia), disputing with Stephen. 10 And they were not able to resist the wisdom and the Spirit by which he spoke. 11 Then they secretly induced men to say, “We have heard him speak blasphemous words against Moses and God.” 12 And they stirred up the people, the elders, and the scribes; and they came upon him, seized him, and brought him to the council. 13 They also set up false witnesses who said, “This man does not cease to speak [c]blasphemous words against this holy place and the law; 14 for we have heard him say that this Jesus of Nazareth will destroy this place and change the customs which Moses delivered to us.” 15 And all who sat in the council, looking steadfastly at him, saw his face as the face of an angel.
    7 Then the high priest said, “Are these things so?”
    Stephen then speaks of the history of the Jewish people. Then he says...
    51 “You stiff-necked[g] and uncircumcised in heart and ears! You always resist the Holy Spirit; as your fathers did, so do you. 52 Which of the prophets did your fathers not persecute? And they killed those who foretold the coming of the Just One, of whom you now have become the betrayers and murderers, 53 who have received the law by the direction of angels and have not kept it.”
    Stephen the Martyr
    54 When they heard these things they were [h]cut to the heart, and they gnashed at him with their teeth. 55 But he, being full of the Holy Spirit, gazed into heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God, 56 and said, “Look! I see the heavens opened and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God!”
    57 Then they cried out with a loud voice, stopped their ears, and ran at him with one accord; 58 and they (the members of the council) cast him out of the city and stoned him. And the witnesses laid down their clothes at the feet of a young man named SAUL. 59 And they stoned Stephen as he was calling on God and saying, “Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.” 60 Then he knelt down and cried out with a loud voice, “Lord, do not charge them with this sin.” And when he had said this, he fell asleep.
    Saul, called in Greek, Paul, a young Pharasee, and member of the Sanhedrin council, over saw the stoning and martyred death of Stephen.

      The entire NT is a total fabrication of the Flavians and Pisos who were Roman families and Caesars. It is based on Vespanian and TITUS Flavius and written by Arrius Piso also a Roman emporer. There are SO MANY contradictions in the NT it is incredible! Paul's writings are the easiest to prove he was not who he said he was.

Luke used the first Gospels to produce a cleaner a d better flowing narrative. John is essentially a catechismic approach to formulating an organized belief system out of the earlier three narratives. Actually, Paul’s statement about being a Pharisee must be viewed in its setting, as follows: “Now when Paul took note that the one part was of Sadducees but the other of Pharisees, he proceeded to cry out in the Sanhedrin: ‘Brothers, I am a Pharisee, a son of Pharisees. Over the hope of resurrection of the dead I am being judged.’ Because he said this a dissension arose between the Pharisees and Sadducees, and the multitude was split. For Sadducees say there is neither resurrection nor angel nor spirit, but the Pharisees publicly declare them all. So there broke out a loud screaming, and some of the scribes of the party of the Pharisees rose and began contending fiercely, saying: ‘We find nothing wrong in this man; but if a spirit or an angel spoke to him,-.’ Now when the dissension grew great, the military commander became afraid that Paul would be pulled to pieces by them, and commanded the force of soldiers to go down and snatch him from their midst and bring him into the soldiers’ quarters.”-Acts 23:6-10

Apparently he didn't SOUND the same bc they didn't recognize his voice either. Explanation is a "glorified body". If his closest friends didn't recognize him it would have been of no value to show himself at the Temple to the Pharisees and say " I'm back". They say many saw him after the Resurrection but again had to be TOLD he was Jesus of Nazareth. I find it odd if Jesus had so many followers to be such a "problem" to the Pharisees why were there only 500 people who witnessed the Ascension? None of it makes sense.

      The natural Universe cries out that it needs a Creator. Genesis has the best answers for what we see around us - not secular, western 'hijacked science'.. The scribe/author of Genesis (Moses) also scribed the other 4 books of the Torah. From here we follow the history and the prophecies in the Tenakh. This is the foundation. There is a God, who communicates with us. The God of the Tenakh is the Creator.
      Now, some people see Yeshua/Jesus as the fulfilment of God's promise in Genesis 3:15, i.e. the Redeemer. Others don't. This is the debate.

    • @fiona5442
      @fiona5442 5 років тому +3

      @Paula Wallace And that is the problem for Judaism - i.e. God alone is the Redeemer, and yet the Redeemer must take the punishment as a mortal.
      As to your last point - suggesting that Yeshua brought to the Jews persecution, oppression and death. Here's what happened. … (very much simplified)
      The Jewish priests bated Pontius Pilate with, "Yeshua says he's a king and he and his people want to take over from Caesar." The Romans then persecuted the Christians for 400 years because of this (with, I may add, little help from the priests who had started the trouble).
      Finally, the Romans came to realise that the Christians couldn't be beaten as they believed their king had conquered death. So, the Romans hijacked Christianity - mixed it with paganism, hid the true Scriptures until no-one knew what was in them, and then told the new era of Christians that the Scriptures said the Law was finished and that they had to kill the Jews.
      i.e. Don't blame Yeshua. He didn't cause the trouble.

The way I see it is that he was a Hellenistic Jew who had heard of this character Jesus and had a deep, conversion experience and other revelatory experiences. He had to make sense of this - to interpret it. As a Hellenistic Jew he turned to the Hebrew scriptures and his Greek understanding of reality. Having grown up in Christianity, I understand the mindset. In Christianity one never studies the Tanak. Also, you really are sorcered and brain washed as children to stay in the New Testament only. Christianity teaches a fear of the law. Where, if you try to keep the law you will go to hell. Don’t even try to keep the law because God will punish you for it, and you will lose you salvation and go to hell. This is put in your mind as children. I left Christianity over 8 years ago because something didn’t seem right, but I just didn’t know what it was. I started questioning doctrines and looking for truth. In Christianity you’re taught to have blind faith. Just believe, no matter how foolish it sounded. I started getting put out of churches because I asked questions.
    You have to consider when you’re taught the wrong way from youth, how would you know what is right as an adult? Although, TMH placed His laws in our hearts and mouths to do, Paul’s lawlessness was taught in place of Torah, beginning as young as 2 or 3 years old. You’re taught you can do whatever you want just put Jesus on it and all will be right with the world.
    Now look at this lawless society. This is a product of listening to and believing the Pauline doctrine, which truly is a doctrine of demons, if you ask me.

    Regarding the geneology of Jesus.......The lineage given in Matthew is the Royal Line through King David and Solomon. It is the lineage of Joseph, Mary's husband through Jacob. The lineage in Luke is the Priestly Levitical Line through King David and Nathan. It is the lineage of Mary. Heli was Mary's father, Joseph's father-in-law. Shalom.

      @Paula Wallace In venting an abusive and rebarbative spirit you have been blinded. If it is accepted for argument's sake that Paul is presenting a paganised view of resurrection, it is incumbent on the proponent to account for the circumstances, in light of Paul's pragmatism. In this case, Paul is teaching the Corinthian Church, whose members are famously beset with carnal temptations. So it would be no surprise that he would prefer to avoid complicating matters by telling them the same unworthy flesh would be raised again.

    I wish to contend the Rabbi’s assertion that it is inconceivable, that Paul, a Pharisee would work at the behest of the high priest, a Sadducee, by going to Damascus to persecute Christians. (Ref.: Acts 9:1-2.)
    1. At that time, the Pharisees maintained spiritual authority in the land, while the Sadducees held social authority. Although the Sadducean high priests were at the head of the Sanhedrin, the decisive influence upon public affairs was, indeed, in the hand of the Pharisees (at that time).
    2. Paul had inherited the rights of Roman citizenship. (Acts 22:28). This title placed him amid the aristocracy of any provincial town under Rome. Therefore his request to be allowed to separate the blasphemers from the Jewish enclaves would have been given serious consideration by those, socially, able to give such letters. (Acts 9:2)

    Jesus Christ is the Firstfruit. He was not resusitated. He was not a corpse coming back to life and dying at a future time. No. Jesus Christ was the FirstFruit, the first man raised from the dead in the same body He was in on earth, one of flesh and blood who WOULD NOT DIE AGAIN. Not resusitated, but resurrected, the first of it's kind; A completely new kind of Being. All believers in Yeshua HaMashiach will be raised a new creation; raised from death to eternal life, being transfigured into glorified bodies consisting of both flesh and spirit exactly like Jesus. No one comes to the Father except through Jesus Christ. Repent, receive Him as the Lamb of God who takes your sin and be reconciled to God. Circumcision can't make you righteous, keeping the Law, (even if you could) can't make you righteous. Only the righteousness of God through faith, through the sacrifice of His Only Begotton Son can make you right in God's sight. Abraham was made righteous because, by faith, he believed God, not because he was circumsized. Repent and receive Israel's Messiah, Jesus Christ. Shalom.

    Doesn't anyone realize that if Paul hunted down and killed so call Christians that the Christians he was referring to were actually "Krishna" worshipers who were called "Kristians?" For just as an example we pronounce Malachi, "Malah-Kye" because the "ch" replaced the "k" some time after Pauls times and the "k" was used for the "ch" sound.
    Paul says that he was born a "ROMAN" not an Israelite or Jew! He only studied the Torah laws.Oh, and Pauls Jesus told him that no man would lay a hand on him, right, but we are told he was crucified upside down and had to hide in a Roman prison, but he wrote ten million books so he really must had did hard time, haha. Do you know how bad those prisons were at that time??? So Paul was treated like royalty by the Romans and we are told to believe he was preaching about an Israelite man who was a god????? Oh and Paul made a person blind? H-E-L-L-O!! And he also condemned a person to satan, and the Israelites had no Devil, but there was many satans, not one??
    Paul also referred to the gospels as being "his" not Jesus's or gods?
    He also referred to Jesus as merely an Apostle of god, sent by god to the Israelites to be a "High Priest" and a High priest is not a god or son of god to the Israelites, and a High priest has to be a Levite not a Ju. But Paul elevates Jesus to be a son of a god then a god? Paul even made himself equal amongst the so call demonic spirits in people with Jesus, "Jesus and Paul we know?" Oh and Paul also said that "Jesus WAS MADE A LITTLE LOWER THAN THE ANGELS???" Oh, then he became known as the Romans god, but a savior to Israelite "SINNERS" only! Pauls says, "To which of the angels did God say" "he will be my son and I will be his father?" Ahhhhhhh, God told David this about King Solomon, and many other things God said about King Solomon were also credited to Pauls Jesus.
    The Romans would had KILLED Paul if he was professing that an Israelite was God of all the people of the world instead they helped him write a million books and then supposively crucified him upside down, BUT THEY SAVED ALL HIS WRITINGS, haha, and based their religion on all his writings, haha.
    CHRISTANITY IS KRISHTIANITY, period!
    If you look at the 150 A.D. Roman coin it had a Greek symbol on one side and a Krishna symbolism on one side. So Krishna worshipers were part of the Roman empire and considered "Krishtians. And of course the story of Jesus is the story of Krishna. And there is plenty of evidence of Krishna but no evidence of Jesus?
    So the Romans had 4 Empires and 4 emperors and during the time of Titus, beginning in Galilee, he began to conquer the land of Canaan, and only the people from the tribe of Judah remained in Jerusalem and they would had rejected Krishna and calling any emperor God or the son of God.
    So I am sure many Churches, which the Jews would never erect for their could be only "ONE" Temple of God because there was only "one" Ark of the Covenant, and only "one" High Priest allowed to enter into the Holy of Holies. So Paul was attacking and killing Krishna Churches and Krishna worshipers weather they be Jew or non Israelites, aka, as God referred to these as "Heathens."
    Then after Constantine ended the war between these 4 emperors he set out to create one religion, one God, and one son of god. But Constantine knew that righteous Israelites would never except any new religion, god, or laws other than the Torah and he was not worried about the people who worshiped Krishna for they were non-violent passive people but he knew the Israelites would always seek to destroy Constantine's god and religion so he wrote his books so that it would make all peoples hate the Israelites everywhere so that they could not multiply and create an army of followers.
    This is why the gospels were written to appease sinners and not righteous Israelites for Constantine wanted to cause "division" amongst them so that he could have help from the inside destroying the Isreaelites. So Israelites guilty of sins, trespasses, and considered outcasts, and those hiding their sins saw a way to get rid of those who were in charge of their punishments, the righteous ones.
    Constantine also knew that the Israelites were many and scattered around the world and that if they are given time they will multiply and they will establish a military and they will attack every Roman occupation they established so they never stopped hunting down Israelites and killing them and their offspring.
    Its funny because in the gospels (which means military victories) they have Jesus starting out in Galilee where Titus began but they forgot to give Jesus friends and girlfriends and instead used the life of John the Baptist and his followers, family and friends and added in Jesus being born also at the same time but, haha, when John sees Jesus he acts like he did not know him, that he was a stranger but another gospel says that Jesus was his cousin and they basically grew up together. But Jesus had no friends to help him carry his cross and no friends at his crucifixion or scrounging?
    And its funny how the gospels claim that the Jews were not allowed to kill anyone, "We have a law that forbids us to kill" haha, The Torah does not forbid them to kill certain sinners? But to make women hate the Jews they write the Jews were persecuting and going to kill a women caught in adultery and have Jesus saving the girl but I THOUGHT THEY HAD A LAW THAT THEY COULDN'T KILL ANYONE, haha
    Jesus is Krishna, and Chrsitianity is, and always was, "Krishtianity" and this is why Romans have ignored what they wrote since they began killing people in the name of their Jesus because they know its fake. And to attract all the savages to help them conquer the world they offered all the murders, rapists, those in dept in their own nations, and every other criminal to bow down to the Roman god Jesus and join their military for penance which they got to murder, rape, and pillage so they were in Heaven as soon as they joined the Romans.
    I am Isiah 53, not Jesus who suffered for 6 hours but for 33 years had followers waiting on him hand and foot. David suffered, Moses suffered, Elijah suffered, Samuel suffered, Eli suffered, King Saul suffered, and many other servants of the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, God of gods, King of kings, Savior of saviors, redeemer of redeemers, christ of christs, Messiah of messiahs, and the Torah only is Gods Laws and Gods words. Jesus ridicules the laws of God, Moses, Solomon, David, and many other righteous people of the LORD God.
    Read Job, God does good and evil to bad and good people, we dont need any middle man nor a new Torah with new laws and new Commandments. It is written that a Jew said to Jesus, "What must I do to inherent eternal life?" He says, "Keep the Commandments." The man said, "which ones and Jesus leaves out the 1st Commandment!!!!!! Then the man says that he has obeyed all the Commandments his whole life, and Jesus says, "NOT GOOD ENOUGH" sell all that God had blessed him with and give it to those cursed, the poor and needy?" Would you want to sell everything your family has accumulated over hundreds of years of labor and go to parents who have a bunch of children they could not even afford to feed, cloth, or house and give them your money, make yourself poor and needy and run around trying to convince other blessed wealthy righteous Godfearing people to do the same???? H-E-L-L-O.
    As it says in Deuteronomy 18:22 prove Jesus is real by proving his promise in John 14:12 has been fulfilled by "one Pope" or one person that has served Jesus???? Or, you are worshiping a demon, as God warns.

      For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways;
      they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.
      The proof that it is his prophecy it written in Mark 4:5-7
      Then the devil took him to the holy city and had him stand on the highest point of the temple. “If you are the Son of God,” he said, “throw yourself down. For it is written: “ ‘He will command his angels concerning you, and they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.’ ” Jesus answered him, “It is also written: ‘Do not put the Lord your God to the test.’”

    Did The Sovereign LORD make a covenant with Abraham because of the law or was it by Abraham’s faith in the LORD, that was counted as righteousness?
    In Eden, there was a single commandment given to Adam and Eve. They were told death would be a result of disobeying the command. What was the underlying message sent in the warning of the command? Trust me! When you distrust G-D, death is a certainty.
    The Laws of G-D are first fulfilled through having trust/faith in the LORD.
    When has the Law blessed anybody? We were blessed with the Law, we were not blessed because of it. The law reflects G-D’s perfected standard and our imperfect nature. Keeping the Law is a strict lesson in futility.
    That’s why Jesus has come into the world, into the flesh, all the laws and prophets point to him and hang on him.
    He hanged on the cross and rose from the dead. It is faith in his works that brings eternal blessings. Jesus is now our sabbath day, we rest in him while he works in us. Amen.

    (1 Thessalonians 2:14-20) "For ye, brethren, became followers of the churches of God which in Judaea are in Christ Jesus: for ye also have suffered like things of your own countrymen, even as they have of the Jews: {15} Who both killed the Lord Jesus, and their own prophets, and have persecuted us; and they please not God, and are contrary to all men: {16} Forbidding us to speak to the Gentiles that they might be saved, to fill up their sins alway: for the wrath is come upon them to the uttermost. {17} But we, brethren, being taken from you for a short time in presence, not in heart, endeavoured the more abundantly to see your face with great desire. {18} Wherefore we would have come unto you, even I Paul, once and again; but Satan hindered us. {19} For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Are not even ye in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at his coming? {20} For ye are our glory and joy."

    I take Paul at his word just as we should do with all men until proven a liar as we do with all people.
    A believer takes God for his word. If you refuse to believe God then you call God a liar which it's impossible for God to lie. God bore witness of Paul so to call him a liar is an afront to God.
    Paul is not lying unless you have to call Paul a liar in order to justify your personal opinion.

    I am sure he had known that nothing is impossible for God, on whom he relied and loved the most, and what God revealed him trough Christ, regarding resurrection and eternal salvation of those obedient, which he himself persuaded, being drawn into that by God himself, not by people alienated from God and from truth, so he would not prefer any non-scriptural philosophy.

    No offense to Tovi, I like him. But I notice that most people who believe in Judaism don't even read there own book but rely heavily on the interpretation of Rabbis to tell them how to see and here that is there first mistake. Learn to read the Torah because you could be easily mislead to accept concepts that are not written but are developed by poor interpretation. Paul had a actual encounter with God who struck him blind on the way to Damascus. Be very aware of teachers, Rabbis ect who attempt to discredit the entire New Covenant. They could never understand it unless God reveals it to them. Saul prosecuted the "the way" for the transformation of believers. Pray and ask God to show you through his holy spirit.

      Steven Rodriguez Christianity is paganism. The idea of a Trinity can be seen in ancient Egyptian paganism as well as Greek paganism. The Quran instructs Muslims to acknowledge the original messages of Torah and Gospel and to believe in the Quran as the final testament to mankind.

    I find this all sad that all theses peoples including Rabbis miss lead and miss interpret the scriptures, of the New Covenant. They will always go back to rely on th old to smear the new. So obvious, but I understand something that most Jewish people do not.

    • @stevenrod7

      @Paula Wallace That so funny because I was going to say the same thing to you. Talk about anti-semitism, and hatered for a our God. The truth is there is not a Christianity, it more of a transformation that most Judaism not only fear especially Rabbis who feel they will lose power and position over it people. Here the secret which isn't really but Yah has place a Veil over the eyes of mostly all Jewish people especially Rabbis. So there is no way you can see nor make any connections no matter how obvious it is presented in the old Torah. Therefore you and religious leaders alike can not make clear decisions based off scripture accurately, it is true for you now but will be enlighten once the Spirit of God removes it. Two, here your dilemma your Messiah has supposedly come in many forms and is only man not divine. Answer me this if he is of Man how can he live forever? He can't and won't. Yeshua died and was resurected himself and is alive today. The constant theme of the Torah of Israel is constantly mistaken in trying to project your Messiah. God has taken Israel on pathes that no scribe or Rabbi could ever know or understand, and God is still working this way with all of us. Examples, out of Egypt? Moses story? A matter fact almost every story in the old has never been interpreted with clear guidance, it no wonder Rabbis are still looking for a Messiah that hasn't come supposedly. New flash he has come and gone and will return again. I've study the Tanaka, Torah you can easily make it fit into your own ideas of beliefs, but that is not God's way. God way are not man's way his ways are incomprehensible, this is why you have no Messiah in the thousands of years. Except men who claim and die only for another to claim again and die. Why would you or any Rabbi not have clear distinction who the Messiah it is? You can't nor can Rabbis the veil is covering eyes. Shalom

      @Paula Wallace Again it's obvious you didn't read my post. How can you expect to understand if your blinded. You know nothing of your Messiah still you did not answer my question because you can not and prophecies mentioned throughout the Bible in the old and new you believe it's all been crupted and what do you think not your teachers do the same to perverte the scriptures to suit there agenda. Keep waiting and then remember me on here if he comes in your life time. I will come back after I have blasted the lies out of your false teachers when I do parallel comparison of the Messiah for Judaism and Messiah for the New Covenant in which which either way you and others will still be denial and blind waiting for nothing.

      @@stevenrod7 Why would a loving god purposely blind His people? Sounds like an excuse to discriminate against His actual people. Why do Judaistic people keep Sabbath and have longer than xtians? Just wondering. I am not Judaistic. I find the religion to be contradictory in many places of the Torah and bible. I also find it not that interesting because many teachings are not correct. Many bad interpretations of the HB.

      @@stevenrod7 Do rabbis not disobey Torah wilfully? Name me actual general examples of disobedience. Because according to G-d, disobedience is not tolerated. I do care because I believe that G-d is love and not a vindictive dictator as xtian religion portrays. Many answers from xtian religion is repulsive and makes you question how they have a conscious. I know many people who call themselves “xtian” and do not line themselves with that. But ask a typical xtian and they will give you some really messed up answers that are not in the Hebrew Scriptures.

    First of all Paul said that he :"used to be " , means it referring to the past, but changed his opinion and became the Follower of Yeshua "
    2) BECAUSE the Yeshua's teaching was contradictory to the rabbinic teaching that's why the rabbies hated him, rejected him and all his followers and persecuted them, and this is going on in the now time too, the followers of Yeshua are rejected as being Jews.
    3) There is NO rabbinic teaching about the resurrection of the dead, that's why are so many different opinions in jewdaism and even the belief in reincarnation !!!
