    They sound great! Those sound good for The Spruce and I imagine they would be good for any piano transcriptions

    I AM LOVING THE SOFT MALLETS!! I had considered buying a pair but went with 0Gravity and waited for your review. I have to get me a pair of these now!! I did like the bonus sound effect during Lemuira 16:09, interesting touch! I myself have a similar sound effect! Good luck in HK! Don't forget to have fun and you are going to do great!!!

      They are great! I'm still using 0G more because my preference is with lighter mallets but the artifact mallets are definitely very high quality! And yes I always scream like that.... glad to know I'm not the only one LOL
      Thank you so much for your well wishes

    There's a new marimba mallet line from Artifact called the VC series - they have a very warm sound with very little attack. Check them out!

    Oh my gosh you played Sibelius! And a good piece too...
    Very interesting set of mallets. At that price point I must say that these have potential.
    Love the colors and names. And the toys. :)

    Hey Adam! Really quickly, in your vibe video, there was a song written in another language that I couldn’t make out and I was wondering if you could translate it or maybe give me a link to the music, it sounded really really nice and I would love to learn it.
    Also I just wanted to say that as a musician I really look up to you and your vids have helped me so much. You are really great at what you do and you inspire me to do better! Thank you very much, cheers!

    • @AdamTanPercussion

      Hey man the song you're referring to is a chinese pop song called 'Jing Jing De' (which just means 'quietly') by the singer Harlem Yu: ua-cam.com/video/Ftqt447kmkY/v-deo.html I just made it up because the chord progressions are really simple haha.
      Thank you so much for your support and kind words man, means a lot to me!

    Hey Adam! While i know its been a while, i feel that its good to say that THESE MALLETS ARE NO LONGER 25 DOLLARS, they are now a solid 30 dollars, which is still quite cheap, but does add up.

    Hey Adam, I don't know when you're next QA is but I was wondering about graduating these mallets. I'm currently learning ghost garden for a percussion concert at my highschool and I have the full set of artifact marimba mallets. What do you think the best graduation of these mallets would be for a song like that.

    Hi Adam, I watch a bunch of your videos, and I seem to remember you mentioning a "marimba one keychain" that comes with the Marimba or something. I am just curious about that and I can't find the video you mentioned it in...😂 I'm a big marimba one fan and I might want one! Let me know, thanks.

    • @AdamTanPercussion
      @AdamTanPercussion  7 років тому

      Hahaha yes I have three of these keychains! I think it was in the very first episode - you get it with the marimba normally but I think if you ask for it specifically they'd probably find a way to send you one :) It's a nice keychain!!!

    hey adam! i’ve been watching a lot of The Studio mallet reviews, and i didn’t know if you had any vibraphone mallets reviews. what would you suggest? i’m wanting to play for marching/jazz band.

    • @AdamTanPercussion
      @AdamTanPercussion  7 років тому

      I have 5 on standby at the moment! Just got back from PASIC etc so I'm going to start working on those :) For now I'd suggest something like the Tony Miceli for something super articulate, or if you want something warmer, my buddy Drew Tucker's mallets from Mike Balter are excellent in the hand!

    Really not a fan of this company... Their mallets aren't great, and the owner isn't the nicest. It's a shame, too, because they really had potential! I haven't played with their mallets in a while, so I hope they've gotten better.
