Really enjoying this chill series. Please keep it going on through the progression. I know for a player like you it might be pretty boring, but for people who enjoy mining, we’re loving this!
For a break from DED sites, I did some mining in Ikuchi. It's one hop from Jita, and has a compression station in the system. This is a great time to knock out Project Discovery, and it's a lot less stressful than running combat anomalies, where it seems there's always someone with a biggier ship and more DPS taking out the Commander spawn, or the last ship to get the escalation. A couple of hours a day makes me feel like I'm still accomplishing something, even while watching UA-cam, or a movie on Amazon.
This is literally what I do every morning. Hop in my venture and go mining in ikuchi while doing project discovery.
I need to learn what this Project Discovery is.
@@alexstorm8986 its basically a little mini game where you click and create boxes around clusters. you get payed a certain amount of ISK for each slide. up to 99k per slide and up to 200 slides if you're omega

That's the first EVE video I watched that was simply.... relaxing. That was nice lol.
Also, it made me realize how gorgeous the graphics are when you're not playing on a toaster >.< It gives a whole different feeling to the game
This is my favorite Eve series. I watch it while I might at the end of the day. It's really nice.
I've been mining high sec for quite a while. I've had a corp of my friends that, that's all we did. Now that they don't play any longer, I'll go sit on an ore site with a retriever in a station that has a refinery. I will sit there and let my lasers and drones do their thing while I watch TikTok, or do the Project Discovery. I don't stick close to Jita, but I have a Miasmos and a place to compress the ore. By the time I've got a full load in a couple days of mining, it'll be worth quite a lot. I definitely recommend it for newer players, or for people that want to relax. Mining is very relaxing in the right places

I noticed you are orbiting. I watched another video that said you should remain stationary to more effectively and efficiently mine.
For those wondering about hi sec extortion and miner gankers... Just stay away from CODE and Safety... Also, if anyone says you need to buy a permit or they will destroy your ship.... Don't do it. It's a stupid tax, bc they will kill you regardless.
I do lot of semi afk highsec mining while working from home. With a mackinaw you can mine over 500000 m3 during a working day
How? I didn't even think it was possible to sustain omega using highsec mining
while in the venture and collecting the veldspar did you say you were selling it at the station or holding it for something?
Hey Jake, does it make sense if someone was to do this, (if they were experienced) that they choose to go mine in Home Pochven systems, they'd cut the time needed for this type of challenge significantly, with some losses, but you could probably do the same value of 8 hours in maybe 2 a day?
Possible, I have actually thought of running the same challenge but in posh.
Wouldn't going into lower security areas give more ISK per hour and add the thrill of staying alive? 👍✌🖖🥃
Don't do low. Do null. Low is constantly camped all day long for innocent gankers/ratters
