◆About the piece
振付：ペク・ファニョン（朝鮮民主主義人民共和国 芸術家）#白換栄
#崔承喜 原作『扇の舞』は、優雅で美しい朝鮮舞踊の代名詞とも言われています。
1980年代に入り、朝鮮舞踊家白換栄によって発展継承された『扇の舞』は、さらに民族色豊かに生まれ変わりました。
音楽、振付、衣装、舞台背景… そのどれをとっても「まさに朝鮮舞踊」とも言えるのがこの『扇の舞』です。

안무: #백환영 (조선민주주의인민공화국 인민예술가)
원작: #최승희
조선무용의 대명사 최승희의 «부채춤»은 1980년대 초 백환영(조선민주주의인민공화국 인민예술가)에 의해 발전 계승되었다.
백환영은 애초 모든 면에서 완벽한 최승희의 «부채춤»을 더욱 발전시키는 것은 불가능하다고 생각했다. 하지만 그는 우아하고 아름다운 원작의 인상은 그대로, 중간에 경쾌한 반살풀이장단을 넣고, 원작보다 더욱 민족적으로, 후반에 곡조를 돋우어 현대판 «부채춤»을 훌륭하게 완성해 냈다.
음악, 안무, 의상, 무대배경 ... 그 모든 면에서 이 «부채춤»은 오늘날 우리가 즐겨 보는 조선무용의 대표적 작품이라고 할 수 있다.

Choreography: Hwan-Yeong Paek (Artist, DPRK)
Seung-Hee Choi's “Fan Dance”, which is synonymous with Korean dance, was developed and inherited by Hwan-Yeong Paek (an artist of DPRK) in the early 1980s.
Hwang-Yeong Paek initially thought that it would be impossible to further develop Seung-Hee Choi's “Fan Dance”, which is perfect in everything. However, Hwan-Yeong Paek keeps the graceful and beautiful image of the original, incorporates the light Pansalpuri-rhythm on the way, finishes it more ethnically than the original, and heaps up the tune in the latter half. Finally the new modern “Fan Dance” has been completed.
The music, the choreography, the costumes, and the stage backgrounds ... by all their elements we can say that this new “Fan Dance” is the typical “Korean Dance” we enjoy on nowadays.
