Shamans are the best for splash/aoe healing with chain heal. You want them in every group for their totems (WF for melee, tranq for casters). In Naxx you'd want to stack almost even more.

Whoever played Van or Tbc must remember the value of gold 5) Even AQ 40 (tier 2,5) gear wasnt enough to enter Naxx 6) Frost, nature, fire ressistance gear was so difficult to farm 7) 40 fucking raiders had to share 3-4 loot items 8) Loatheb was so fucking bugged that they had to take a worldbuff inorder to take him down. 9) 4 Horsemen...This fight needed 8 fucking super geared tanks with ti3 4 set bonus. Holy shit! So as a conclusion you had to be a total nolifer to enter Naxx and there is nothing to do about skills. I once watched a retail C'thun kill and there was a hunter that he casted a whole bandage heal LOOOL. 0 skill required you only had to be a nolifer END OF STORY. (apologize for the big text)

I played to gladiator during tbc, so I’m out of the question. The concept of the 3D mmorpg was a fairly new concept so yes people had a hard time at first, but now with classic coming out again I’m quite sure people will steamroll it...just how the speed runs now are faster than they ever were during classic...classic was classic and just that...the original...the game has come a long way since then...so please don’t tell me it was hard...that hard part was getting 40 competent players back then and having them all geared with attunements and consumables...besides all the “hard” farming...classic was and is a joke to a half decent player. And yes I played classic all the way to wrath then some Draenor and then Legion...legion even though was legendary dependent was still one of the best and most trying of difficulties. Both mythic pluses and mythic raids...not the first few bosses...bosses like Kil J, and Argus types, the rest were jokes as well. Getting server firsts and to be one of the first to do mythic 15 dungeons and pushing higher and higher keys...vanilla has its nostalgia and I won’t deny that but for God’s sake stop saying it was harder...it just required more time. “Hardcore” to level and farm and be half decent. We had too many retards who couldn’t kite Razorgore(which killed most guilds and Vael). I had to drop earthbinds and earth shock to help the nubs who took a few seconds just to turn around sometimes...I guess using your mouse is harder than I though for most...my girlfriend showed me that years later when I had to wait for her after every pull to do Wailing caverns which made the group incredibly frustrated...I know we all need to learn some patience but some of you need to stop clicking and bind it all! You’ll get it, I promise. Make an attempt to bind all keys even if you rarely press them and build that habit. It’ll be hard at first but once you etch it into your brain patterns you can enhance your gameplay. Again Vanilla was one of the best because we were all “young” and were the golden days of “hardcore” raiding...but it wasn’t hard...just “hard” for that time because it was fairly new. Skill back in Vanilla = 0 All you do is spamming fireballs and scorch. That was so boring.. Fight mechanics were also close to inexistant. The only difficulty was in the farming process of all the different access to the raids and all the potions you need for resistance and stuff. Really boring stuff...
If it was hard for u to farm potions i don't know what to tell u. Also, sure, the classes are somewhat faceroll. But atleast the mechanics that are present matter. In legion u can dodge 90% of boss mechanics when u have the boss on farm. This does not happen in Classic, and it never will, regardless of the amount of gear the raid has.

Vanilla is garbage tier as any 2004 game would be if you look at it as of right now's standards. No organized guilds used roll feature. U got loot if u performed. Aka. Be good enough and get the gear u want. There is no point investing loot in a fella that cannot do optimal on his class.
The grind sure, but this is just ridicously easy content with this damage. They should really buff the content if they want a challenge close to what it was on retail. I mean they kill c'thun in ONE weakened phase when most guilds struggled to kill it in three back on retail. So 100% blizzlike with todays knowledge of the game mechanics and DPS calculations makes the fight mechanics go out the window pretty much since everything just dies instantly instead.

This was 1-2 months before Naxx release so just full T2-2.5. Almost all buffs are stacking so thats how you get big health pools.

I mean they kill c'thun in ONE weakened phase when most guilds struggled to kill it in three back on retail. So 100% blizzlike with todays knowledge of the game mechanics and DPS calculations makes the fight mechanics go out the window pretty much since everything just dies instantly instead.
