Emmet Fox was an Irish New Thought spiritual leader of the early 20th century, primarily through years of the Great Depression, until his death in 1951. Fox's large Divine Science church services were held in New York City.

As soon as we bite into the belief of duality, we are forever trapped in a hall of mirrors of contrast and opposites, lost while we swing between them like a pendulum. 💥🔥🙏 Emmet Fox through his written works where he analysed parts of Bible, like in his ouvre " The Sermon on the Mount" and " Power Through Constructive Thinking" was the reason to me for review what I thought I knew about the Scriptures. His work puts light on, and shows clearly that we cannot hold the whole picture with half eyelid opened. I thank the person who indicated it. And Emmet, that in a unfortunately short life had time to pen a great lesson" the importance of the Bible is that is useful in our lives." Unfortunately I had to fall in a lotta addictions and rise above to see what he meant. Thank you from this channel for sharing. Hope you put out an audio version of the books I mentioned. Wow! I never thought of it that way! As an Atheist, I never took anything in the bible literally. I am one of those who thinks every story is a parable. I was just thinking today when jesus says "I", what does he mean? He often spoke in parables. I wonder if he turned his teachings into a metaphorical person and that is the "I" he speaks of. This is how i interpret what "god" is to me. A way of life. Life itself.

Well if that is your interpretation of God you might be in for a rude awakening. God isn’t just a way of life. He is our creator and we our to view him that way. God is not a metaphor nor a theory. Then again not all are called to be his children. Don’t go blind while searching for the light. YAWEH loves you. Jesus is the Son of God. Have faith now (during this life) or reflect upon it with regret in the next.

main stream Christianity is very different. For example, Emmett Fix did not believe in Jesus as an external savior as most Christians do.

People have yet to realize that everything that happens is due to what wages on the inside of mankind's thinking, no matter what it is, it manifests, in the body and outside the body! All that's been done regarding the truth, comes down on people, regardless of what happens to people. Blindness happens because people do not See the truth. People are in prison because the truth is locked up. When people free the truth, only divine Consciousness shall remain and then you are set free! Emmet Fox was an assist at the Mind Centre the Master Judge Thomas Troward, lectured at and so he assisted Troward. Fox was heavily influenced by Troward’s teachings as he sat through his lectures. I recommend when it comes to Bible teaching you read Bible Mystery and Bible Meaning by Troward.
Awesome content, commercials sort of mess up the flow though. The ones at the beginning and end don't, but when they are in the middle it sort of ruins the moment. Unfortunately it makes me hesitate to watch this video more than once or watch others, but thank you for making them regardless.

The garden of EDEN was a physical place located in the Middle East, not far from the present city of Jerusalem. The Song of Solomon, which has been regarded as a love or romance poem, reveals the location of the orginal garden of Eden in chapter four of the Song. Eden was located in a place which is known as Lebanon today. The river that flowed from Eden and which became four rivers was caused by snow melting from the mountains of Lebanon (Song 4:15) Jeremiah 18:14 asks the following question. [Does the snow of Lebanon ever vanish from its rocky slopes? Do its cool waters from distant sources ever stop flowing?] God planted his first garden in Lebanon and Satan came and defiled the garden,causing God to reject the defiled garden ( but not the trees) and to choose a new garden which God will soon establish in Jerusalem. This is the reason why the first Jewish temple built by Solomon was constructed using timber that came only from Lebanon ( 1 Kings 5:6), where God had originally planted the best trees including the cedar of Lebanon ( representing the spirits of human beings). That is also why king David's palace was built with wood obtained from Tyre in Lebanon (1 Chronicles 14:1). Even when Zerubabbel rebuilt the first Jewish temple, he used timber obtained only from Lebanon (Ezra 3:7). All these were clues dropped by the Holy Spirit to help us identify the original place where the garden of Eden was located. I have a lot more evidence on this and other biblical mysteries revealed through a Spirit-led reading of the end-time Book known as the Song of Songs or Song of Solomon. This is a fantastic interpretation of the garden of Eden. Thank you for sharing ❤️. However....what is the explanation for the geneology of Adam? Who are Cain and Abel?! Seth was supposed to be another son to replace the slain Abel....
Your question is one of a very deep nature, one throughout the ages humanity has tried to grasp, ultimately the teachings of emmet and others remind us of the states of mind in which we can fall and they can either bring us down or lift us up, the symbolism of discovering the oneness with god, but the real mystery of how creation came into being, or the symbolic figure Adam, remains a mystery even to me, and I suppose even Emmet wasn't able to ever speak on the matter.
The story of Cain and Abel was interpreted by a great mystic Neville Goddard as symbolism between the spiritual self and physical self, and that god had great delight in blessing the spiritual brother over the physical brother, again you may not agree with the descriptions but they are thought provoking if we zoom in more on the unity of life and what these explanations would mean.

Hi there in 21:40 you use a slightly different definition. Of Woman, then the Bible, which says in (Genesis 2:23) Adam called her Woman because she came out from man...so if she came out of Adam then wouldn't Adam already have had a conscious mind? 🤔

If you read Ezekiel Chapter 30 in the Bible, you can understand the parable of the Garden of Eden. It was a true event that once took place but it's a parable itself. We all know that snakes can't speak, so when the serpent is brought up you have to understand exactly what a serpent is.. If you read the Bible upon precept to precept you'll see that the serpent is a false prophet.
The Garden is a living parable, not simply a parable, otherwise why is Adam's genealogy included in Scripture?
Than you! So, it probably entails that both man and woman are called Adam(a), as both genders have an Eve (a soul). As spirits, I guess we are not male and female (not separated), but souls. So maybe Women (symbolic manifestation of the invisible/soul), and men (symbolic manifestation of visible things/body) have reproductive organs, in order to transpose in 3D, the creative spiritual power lost when the belief in good and evil started? How does one determine that.... The Bible says this, but it really means that? Is there nothing to be taken literally in the Bible? I recently made an attempt to join a Baptist Church and man! I had to flee that mindset after having been following New Thought teachings and channels such as this for years. I felt like such a hypocrite to be there.
According to the bible Adam was created before Eve. Should not Eve have been created before Adam; then maybe Fox's discourse might make more since. The issue is if you take it from the logical way it is seen that Adam came first, but initially in the mind of God, male and female aren't separate beings they are all one..that's why we are told Genesis 1:27
[27]So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
We see that male and female created he them, so man is male and female in Himself but again this also must not be taken literally by definition of body parts and responsibilities..
Further more Paul goes deeper and tells us that in Christ there is no male or female, and Christ is the perfect man whom we are all identified by..
The bible also says that in the day Adam/Eve eat from the tree they would surely die. But they did not die........ unless the bible means they died a spiritual death.

God causes Adam to fall into a deep sleep then removes a rib to make woman. But then he brings the woman to Adam and Adam talks to her (this is the next verse) … so how did you get that Adam never woke from the sleep?

Here's another question for you Thor where did Evil come from it wasn't from the tree. Is that a metaphor too? is that figurative? They are in numerous genealogy records in scripture.
