Pathikritji, you are so right on so many points. As an educationist in higher education abroad, I have taught fellow bharatiya kids... And I feel so disappointed. The level of education that we receive back home and our colonial mindset to be servants is astonishing.

I had been in NDA as cadet for two years, economics honours Hans Raj DU, international business for 17 years and worked as top executive in MNCs and at times in Indian companies. Let me be clear, our HRs are full of idiots and people at middle management have no idea how to cultivate people. Top people would give me people, whom they thought were incompetent or inexperienced, as I would treat my juniors with love and train them for all levels. Yes I demanded discipline, the NDA style. Let me tell you that these people would be exceptional in performance and you know they would be transferred to other places to control other places professionally. In business my brother would send his new people with no experience and he would tell me that in 15 days I want them perfectly trained. I give credit to NDA where right after six months we were told to guide others. In short our middle management has to be trained along with HR to guide and not expect others from day one. Hit to kill, kill to win and lead by example is my moto.

I hired 2 girls from India for remote positions for my new startup in Canada, including a recent BTech graduate from a well-known Institute. I was paying her twice the salary that she was last withdrawing and gave her a critical position, autonomy and freedom with the best tools to perform. She absolutely did nothing - zilch, maybe not more than 30 minutes of work each day, and took all the salary, resulting in lost time and resources until I fired her. Either she was too smart/deceitful, working two jobs - getting paid from us while working elsewhere, or onto something else. I lost faith in hiring anyone from India.

Our unit have computer operated machines, ideally the computer literate operator should operate these machines. But now we lowered our eligibility requirements. We want candidate to know and read simple English words like Start, Stop , Alarm. And no educational qualifications needed. Still all these units are always short of manpower. There is no unemployment at all.

I have an observation,.All students of eighties and nineties ,who had their education from KV's, Navodyas and sainik schools are multi skilled people and all got very respectable jobs in public and private sectors.many are multi talented and running their businesses. So Govt. Should revive KV model of education. The error lies in CBSE board system. It doles out easy marks to students and even a student having no aptitude for science gets 90% marks easily and the students, their parents start believing that their wards are mbbs or iit stuff. This fallacy forces them towards coaching/poaching industry. Ideally 3-4lakh applicants should apply for Neet but 24Lakh students are applying which indicates that 20 lakh students are confused and don't know their choices and aptitudes. Government is silent because it gets hefty tax collection from these booming coaching institutes.

There is a great film in Telugu that came out in 1984 starring Chiranjeevi. It is about a BCom graduate who attends a job interview where he is really insulted for being poor - a Daridrudu. He says that creating and running a business and making money is not at all an impossible task. Some cinematic "Challenge" scene ensues, and the entire film is about how the hero goes on to start a business, buys a shut down paper mill, and then goes on to start a scooter manufacturing company and wins the Challenge.
That was another kind of angry young man - of a positive and constructive kind.
It was a huge hit, and inspired a generation of people, some of whom have done very well in life.
There's a scene in the film where he dissuades a group of young leftist engineers from going into extremism and armed struggle, and gives them employment.
If any film needs remaking for our times, this is the one I would highly recommend.

In India a science student passes by giving a written exam, no student is asked to make a working product as a project on his own & explain that as his paper. Good Video and Payne hits the hard issue (skills), in the opeing statement itself. In fact i was talking to one of the former news editor, last week, that the issue starts iwith the education system. In today's world, this education system is just there for the heck of it. At the end of the day, everyone can have a degree but most of these youth(s) really dont know their true strength. reason, lack of skill & motivation to develop. I also told him all the job creators in this world cannot produce 1cr children every year (just for India) just for these youth to get married into their family, so that they become instant rich. The opportunities are plenty it's just that you are not knocking the right doors. within as well as outside. Guru(s) used to play a huge role in bridging these gaps by asking the right questions.. i can quote million examples from my own family. There were times where we were living only in debts and it took a while to come out of all those.

When I was doing my undergraduate in Mechanical Engineering, most of my classmates did not want to do any lab classes. They did not want to electrical wiring, carpentry, welding, foundry, smithy, lathe, milling, planing and repair of machines and equipment. When we went for postgraduate in the West, they couldn’t coupe up in any of the practical classes. They had to drop out or change courses outside of mechanical engineering. I now got to know these practical classes requirements have dropped further in India, how can we develop manufacturing in scale if ITI and practicals are reduced because of the white collar dream.

I bought a USHA fan when I opened it.....made in China was written on it .
I bought a VIP suitcase when I opened it.....made in Bangladesh was written on it .
The cost of both the item was extremely good and was very cheap cost.
The company is shifting their manufacturing unit outside india to make more profit .
Government have a huge role to encourage skill and have to protect the manufacturing units .
Government job is not to give freebies.

You are true . We all are facing labour shortage. Nobody wants to work in the field. Engineers are not employable. We have to train them at least for a year . Hindu boyes doesn't want to do any hard work, where as anti nationals are willing. But we don't want to emply them. We are in a very bad situation. Unless we change the educational system nothing will change

Both of you bros, Please visit China for at least 1 month, go around, see the things first hand and make content about China. Please don't make content like xi mar gaya type Indian mainstream media kind of things.

Why do you come to conclusion that they have not visited? Why do you not make a distinction between seeing superficially and judging based on under current? In your judgement whoever criticizes China, they have no knowledge? Have you watched series of reports from eminent news reporters?

@@Bharavi-yk5gp I never saw any show in which they produced video or pictures taken by them. They are becoming Indian Gordon Chang (this guy is China failure expert for last 30 Years), There are other Indians, travelers into China who make content from China and those videos tells different story. Please don't fall into category like that Dawood mar Gaya, Hafez Saeed mar Gaya. Do you remember how long this thing was on going into Indian Media? For your better understanding some times watch Cyrus jansen, Sumit Jain, they also make content about China.

@hariprasad9037 There is too much content on china, both pro and anti channels, that you don't have to bank on this channel for info on china, though Rajiv Narayanan sir does a good job as regards the history of china. You can see Sean Foo's channel for pro china and the many Indians traveling through china, Chinese movies, series, etc etc for what the self image of china is and watch china observer, china insights, Lei...channels for the against commentary or propaganda. The truth of China is represented by both sides and people who can read in-between can get a very good account of china doing so. China experts in Indialike Geeta koocher have real insights.
