Hello both, Mushrooms are very common when theres been a degree of disturbance of the soil. Newly turfed lawns can suffer them for a while as the spores have been triggered during the landscaping. Also set your mower to a high cut and try to only remove a third of the length a one time when you cut the lawn first to avoid stressing it. Cheers for the videos.

My neighbours had magic mushrooms growing on their front lawn. They are quite common here on Vancouver Island, but usually in found in cow fields. We used to pick them when we were teens.

Mushrooms!! 🍄 transporting and then laying new turf can sometimes stimulate the fungi to produce toadstools or mushrooms. They most commonly appear when the weather is warm and humid. They will usually disappear after a few weeks or when weather conditions change and are unlikely to re-occur.
It means your going to have a beautiful new lawn come next year. Make sure you don’t cut it too short for winter longer the better
