Was looking for a texture palette and ran into this video. Nicely made video and quite entertaining. Liked, subscribed and hit the bell, you know the drill.
Amazing work! I was considering the same so the tutorial is extremely well-timed! Also, this is one of the most entertaining videos I have seen recently! :D
Thanks! I think I’ll break it in tonight in a live video on my instagram… (and uhm… forgive me fot being a big “starstruck”… but I find it so freakin’ cool to have you as a follower! 🤘🏼)
@@StevieSCustoms Poop. Yeah, I figured finding a scanner like that would be very challenging. Oh well, I guess I can't be lazy and will have to follow your guide to make my own. HA
Made something similar and then found this video - been worried the sand will be like sand paper on the brush - how is this holding up over time and have you started seeing brushes get damaged? Cheers
I might have missed this part so if I did then I apologize but did you top coat this at all when you were done? I thought about putting different varnishes on mine when I make one so I could see how the paint goes on if I'm brushing over some in the future. Anyways, just wondering
Oh, I haven't even thought that far into the future yet... I guess I make a new one when the textures aren't sufficient anymore. But stripping is also an option of course. I'm not sure how the materials (wood and putty) would react on the stripping medium though. Thanks for asking!
Nice work bud! Happy to see this idea spreading far and wide!
Thanks! This means a lot to me coming from you. Thanks agsin for the inspiration!
The mistakes,
The cleaning up afterwards,
The amazing result regardless.
The most real modelling video on UA-cam I have seen.
Thanks! Yeah, I'm not much a self-censoring guy and I like to show that all I do is muck around and have fun! :-)
Very cool idea for this. Glad I found your Tiktok and channel. Look forward to seeing more of your work.
Thank you for the kind words. TikToks are a lot easier to make, but I’ll upload an YT video again shortly…
Love it! Well done! I'll have to attempt one now. You make it look easy. Thanks!
I made a couple of them and it’s really fun to do!
mind blowing stuff...
Thnx!! I still use it a lot!
love your humour, and editing style
Thank you!!

Oh wow Hory! Thank you for that and welcome. I hope you’ll enjoy my “crazy hobby”. 😉
Really awesome video, I'd love to your new pallet in use now
I’ll keep you posted in my future videos!! ☺️
This is genius! Totally user friendly and funny, man. Keep it up. Subbed!
Wow! Thank you for the support!
Dude. Just found your channel.
Keep it up.
Subbed
Thanks for the support!
Thats a cool idea .... had a similar idea .. getting a cork variant of that Artis Opus pallet ... but this looks even beter :)
I used cork on my prototype, but it tends to weather pretty easily. Even after sealing with mod podge. Let me know what you’ll make of it!

Oh wow, thank you!! I aim to please. And… Glad I could help and please share the result!
Genius idea m8

@@StevieSCustoms lol that's a first - most people tell me to leave =] keep up the good work m8
Awesome video 😂😁
Thank you! I’ll keep you posted on my experience in using it!
The opening is so dumb. I absolutely love it bravo.😂❤
Thanks! I had a lot of fun making it… 🤣
Dope.
Thanks!!
I need that palette!! Have you figured out how to mass produce and sell it yet?
Nope, sadly not. Someone told me to 3D scan it so people could print it. I haven’t found anyone with such a scanner though…

Brushes tend to damage overtime anyways… I stopped worrying about that, because it limited my creativity. Tools ate meant to be used! ☺️

Just a couple of layers of primer and you’re good to go! Once it’s full, just spray a new layer of primer and continue working! 👍🏼
How do you maintain and clean it?
I don’t clean it. Once it’s full, I just spray a new layer of primer on it and use it again.
Random question, are you supposed to eventually paint strip the texture pallets or just keep building up hundreds of layers?

"Then i remembered my ADHD" hahahahhahah
Yep… it’s a blessing, not a curse imo! Haha.
