Some friends were saying to me (non malays) that kamu can be rude if used outside of close friends , it shows authority of the speaker over the person.. i'm like really?? Thats not what i learnt in school! I thought it was neutral. here in this video you say kamu is polite.. so which is it, or does it vary according to region in malaysia haha! I thought i should know my own national language
