One time in May, someone at the high school where I teach decided to set up one of those faceless models (like you see in clothing stores), and they dressed it up in a cap and gown. So every morning when I’d walk into the building still half asleep, I’d round the corner and be startled by a creepy faceless graduate.
Very enjoyable video ❤ Even though the haul wasn't big, it was fun to see all the stuff. 💗💗💗Especially the boxes with the vintage dolls and fashions. There were definitely some gems (and Jems 😂) in there. Though the Barbie prices were a bit steep... totally understand that you just picked up the little dress. It comes from Fun'n Dress / Bali Barbie. Does that mean you had this doll maybe as a child? 🤔 But I haven't found out what doll you actually picked up. Very beautiful face paint!!! But I haven't found her yet😅
I didn't personally have the dress n fun Barbie, but it would have been either one of my cousins or my childhood friend that had that doll, and they gave me the outfit in a bag of Barbie clothes when I was a kid because the first Barbie that I bought from the girl down the street didn't have any clothes.
I'm not sure about the Barbie that I found, but I plan to make a video when I clean her up and give her new hair. Maybe once I clean off her face I can see the face paint a little better and it will be easier to identify?

Sadly, in the Austin/San Antonio area Goodwill will only put out toys that they can't sell on their auction site. Anything that might be worth something must go to the central office. They are not allowed to put them out for sale in the stores. Other thrift stores still put out toys, but not Goodwill. So very sad for toy/doll thrifting.
Goodwill sucks they put the stuff of value online and the charge so much for shipping. I was going to buy some Barbies for $40, and that's how much shipping would have cost.
I wish I could have picked up all those Barbie Horses for my Model Horse Museum! I have over 30,000 model horses, mostly BREYERS, but I do have a VERY SMALL HERD of the original Barbie Horses. Dallas, Midnight (x2), Dixie, Honie, and Prancer. The original Horses. When they were normal horse colors and proportions.
The very last store, near the second shelf, there was a ken wedged against the back of the shelf close to the bottom. I saw his legs and an arm. You went right passed him. I only collect boys and that was definitely a muscular ken arm Nd ken legs. But he was barely in the screen for a half a second and you were panning right....... It was the last store. I would have rescued him in a heart beat no matter the condition..... Even if he was headless.....

Some of the other Non-Barbies you went through was Jazzie (blonde with pigtails and windbreaker), who was created to be Barbie's teen cousin and response to Maxie, a few New Kids on the Block: Hangin' Loose Joey McEntire and Jordan Knight with proper outfits, another Jordan Knight and a Donnie Wahlberg! They seem to be missing their outfits and may also be Hangin' Loose, or they may also be the In Concert ones, though it's hard to tell since they're not wearing the right shirts. Both sets had the same dolls so it depends on the clothes they're wearing. Towards the bottom, the blonde at 25:12 is actually another Maxie! She's the first one they made called Lookin' Smart Maxie, and isn't wearing her proper clothes. The dark skin doll next to her might be her friend Kristen/Simone. Her name changed after realizing the show named her the latter. The teal pants at 25:28, tea article at 26:00, and the yellow and black jacket at 26:25 go to a Maxie set called 101 Fashion Looks! As for Jem, they were all Jem, with a majority of actual Jem outfits/fashions! The green hair one is Pizzazz, who was a member of Jem's rival group called the Misfits, and is wearing almost all of her og outfit! She seems to just be missing the green sash, and isn't wearing the proper shoes. They're supposed to be a dark metallic-like gray. She's actually wearing Flash n' Sizzle Jem's pumps, with the pink dress/blue skirt as well as the silver tights going to her as well! She doesn't seem to be in this pile unfortunately, the outfit being worn by the original Jem/Jerrica. The white haired doll is another Misfits member called Roxy, and she's wearing part of a Smashin' Fashion (Misfits & early Rio directed line) called Let the Music Play. Looks like she's wearing the wrong type of tights, since they're supposed to be yellow. May be a pair that goes to a later outfit for the Holograms-focused line On Stage called Set Your Sails! The purple shoe she's wearing goes to another later On Stage fashion called Love's Not Easy, and supposed to come with a pair of light pink sandals. The doll with rainbow hair is called Danse, and she's wearing an On Stage fashion dress called Encore! Missing the blue lace tights and socks as well as the yellow pumps. And finally the smiling doll with gold tinsel is Glitter n' Gold Jem, who's earrings are supposed to flash to signify her transformation from Jerrica to Jem and vice versa! The og Jem as well as Flash n' Sizzle are supposed to do the same. The dress she's wearing goes to another Smashin' Fashion called Outta My Way, and is supposed to have a yellow belt, tights, and sandals, and purple socks! As for the vintage Skipper style doll at 29:14, that was supposed to be Skipper's friend Scooter! She didn't seem to last very long xD

I love finding out which dolls are what, and what outfit pieces go to them, but I only really recently started focusing on vintage dolls, and I'm not familiar with vintage dolls yet. I'm much more knowledgeable at identifying ever after high, or Monster High haha.

Great finds my onec a apon a child I get pretty lucky at sometimes I just found a original torala doll and her friend from monster high for four dollars they had there clothes on the original monster high clothes and there tails are on to and they are in such great shape I’m happy to have them
There’s a review on UA-cam on that seasons Ariel by the Doll Daddy in case you wanted to watch it. I have watched it and my opinion is that that doll is not the best “out of box” because the hair is so flat. The tail is similar to a beanie baby, just so you’re aware before you buy ❤
The discount store Some of the Walmarts that I’ve been to have a Lot a Brooklyn dolls in with one pack or two back with Malibu so I’m just saying And I’ve been searching for all of me to move Barbies, including online. I like to go in person to see the face to see if it’s good or not and if it is, I will buy it and thanks for all the names to different stores. I really appreciate that because I’m trying to find all the made a move doors in person online. It’s an if for me ^-^

Goodwill has a greedy habit nowadays of plucking out G1 ponies and auctioning them off on their website 🙄 they go for ridiculous amounts and sometimes the goodwill employees will infiltrate pony groups/communities to advertise their wares and ratchet up bids 🤢 ugh. I’m not bitter about it 😅 but that’s probably part of the reason you aren’t having luck finding ponies at Goodwill.
Goodwill auctions everything they canin my area. I want to put out a PSA not to knowingly buy from Goodwill online auctions. I like their work study program well enough, but I imagine corporate is getting more benefit than any underling employee.

At the time I didn't realize it was jazzy, I only realized when I went back and was editing the video. I may go back and see if she's still there.
