TL;DR If you want to get into 3D modeling, 1. Get your 3D software. 2. Mod it and get quick menus. 3. If your building a character, find a basic walking/skeleton online (not shown in short but true in past shorts) I would ask if people get in trouble for using other people's walk/skeletons but then again I think most people don't care as long as the project gets finished and no copyright has been broken.
