Mithiras that’ll explain it then, does he play in midfield for yous at all now or just at the back? Because every time I’ve watched him play against us he always seems to have a very good passing range and as you said very composed on the ball for a cb he could definitely do a job in midfield

But fair play to Aberdeen on the basis of how the match went Aberdeen were the better side but like you said we took our chances.

This is probably due to his past midfield experience leading to more comfort on the ball I guess. He could probably do well at CDM but I feel that due to his height he's more suited to playing as a CB to knock away headers but he's not the best with his head. Cheers.

As a Celtic fan I dont think we would have any rights to feel hard done by if Aberdeen had held on for the point. They controlled the pace and direction of the game for a decent spell after they equalised. But the mark of champions is being able to turn a performance like that, in weather like that, against tough, physical opponents like that, into three points.

Celtic got away with one here. Aberdeen bossed the game for large parts without really creating anything, not often we see Celtic pinned back in their own half & playing long ball game. Nice counter, sublime back heel from Edu & great finish to end the move. Results like this are why Celtic are champions elect. Massive improvement for the Dons also this past few games, I expect them to get past Killie mid-week to progress to the Quarters of the SC.

Rangers have really gifted Celtic the title. I've seen plenty better Celtic teams and dont particularly rate this one but the standard of Scottish football this year has been poor. The tainted titles in Scotland were those won by the original Rangers when they had ‘improperly registered’ players with dual contracts, players that they paid with EBT’s, when they wouldn’t pay their tax bills or their NI contributions, when the governing body gave them a licence to play in europe knowing that they had a tax bill and no intention of paying it, those are the only tainted titles in Scotland.

Rangers have really gifted Celtic the title. I've seen plenty better Celtic teams and dont particularly rate this one but the standard of Scottish football this year has been poor. Rangers have dropped silly points like last season and Celtic are coasting to 9 in a row. Hope they do the 10 but as mad as it sounds i think they need 2 or 3 new top signings.
