- How to make a modern Christmas arrangement - rework of previous design
Ingredients - pine cone feature panel, red gerbera as focal point, pine, ilex stem , decor items - wooden stars, dried fruit slices and acorn cups.
In the previous video we created an alternative Christmas tree design using a panel made with pine cones. In today’s video we rework these materials and set the panel horizontally to create a design for a mantlepiece of sideboard - or, it could be made double sided to go on a festive table.
We used a couple of glass test tubes to add a water source for the gerbera - but the other materials are okay without. The overall design is a real contrast of light materials set against the panel and with a very natural overall effect.

I really love this! What a cheery , natural-looking Christmas arrangement! I wanted the second gerbera facing me a tich more and then you added the starts and acorn hats and I was glad it was facing the way it was. I have been getting more clumsy as I age too. Before you try anything else, you might put the glued T into the freezer for an hour or so. The glue might then roll or pry off more easily. The next step might be to apply meths or acetone from the back
The flower arrangement is very nice and foresty. Your linear designs are often my favorites.
