Michael Scott’s tears and the kiss
I don't think I saw that episode where Michael was leaving. Will Ferrell becomes the new boss? I'm kinda glad to know that that was improvised. Makes it all the more heartfelt
less talk, more clips, Phoebe.
Would love to see a compilation of Jim Trotts best bits from vicar of dibley in tribute to his passing please. ❤👍
How is that video 3 days old but your comment 1 week old ?
If the kiss was improvised, then that means that Dwight attempting to kiss Oscar was also inprov! Amazing actor Rainn Wilson!
Wait. And if Steve Carell didn't kiss Oscar, Rainn couldn't do that. Amazing actor STEVE CARELL!
The last thought I had on this video is the first comment I see.. amazing
I was thinking the same
What about Oscar he played along with the kiss I think he deserves some credit
This comment is improvised 😎
Dwight saying “fuck” being scared by Angela is probably my favourite clip from the entire series it makes me laugh every time, apparently Wilson didn’t know Kinsey was following him and was genuinely surprised to see her.
It's great when it's used as a meme for a new year or feeling like March 2020 (because of covid) and it's March 2021 lol
YESSS! JUST YESSS!!!!!
I think that was scripted actually, if I remember correctly from a bloopers video I saw, they shot that scene multiple times
@@rodrigocarballo456 it might be that he did it unscripted, liked it. And they refilmed it
@@jordiebhoy1048 yep 👍
About the kissing scene between Michael and Oscar, everyone talks about how amazing Steve's improvisation was, but i feel that few people appreciate how Oscar made this scene even better with his reaction. Boths are great actors.
And then Rainn's, too, and Steve and Oscar's responses. All brilliant.
I've noticed from watching bloopers that Oscar was hard to break character
It is the same principle in pro wrestling. The main dude can be way over the top but would end up looking like a complete clown if the dude he’s fighting doesn’t make every strike and bump look good.
@@markandmargie7331 that's what he said..right guys cause of gay
@@bobbychao1097 lol
Holy shit Rainn improvised the beet farm! That became such an iconic role in the show and an identity piece for Dwight. That may be one of the most influential imrpovs I’ve ever heard
That's exactly what I was thinking. The fact that the entire beet farm gag was the result of an improvised line is just insane.
Wait also, does this mean Mose was also a result of the improvisation. Because if so, I swear to god this show is beyond almost anything I've ever watched.
Yeah i never knew it was improv
It just may be one of the most! How many influential improvs have you seen?
@@eshashah6000 the guy who plays mose was one of the original writers along with mindy and aj. They put him in as mose as a gag and they kept writing him in. Apparently he hated it, and the beard hahhaha. He talks about it on office ladies
Michael pushing Toby's tray off the table while Toby tells him about his divorce should've been on this list!!!!
Paul Lieberstein literally said it's one of the best improv moments he's ever seen!
Hahaha I loved that scene
Nope Paul recommended that it wasn't improv so listen to the office ladies
@@tpgeek7688 What? Literally watch the video "Paul Lieberstein From The Office on What Made Toby So Funny". Paul says "Working with Steve was a masterclass of acting...there's a scene where I was trying to make him feel better and I was opening up about my divorce and he slowly slides my tray right off the table. That was unscripted"
Yeah I agree. That scene should have been on the list
@@soadboy66 listen to the podcast.
Hearing Leslie David Baker say that the script just said “Stanley rants” for the scene where he goes off on Ryan makes it 100x better.
That moment is really scaring!
HAVE YOU LOST YO MIND CUASE I'LL HELP YOU FIND IT
Something tells me that he’s done that before in real life!!
@@matheusmarinho13 WHAT YOU LOOKING FOR? AINT NOBODY GONNA HELP YOU OUT THERE
That scene is a masterpiece and so is he.
Why no mention of Angela's improvisation in response to the "I guess I must be the devil". "You are the devil. I'm in hell!" When she cuts in with "You shouldn't joke about that."
@Former Auror it wasn't on it's own of course, but they mentioned jan's improvisation and micheal's reaction but not angela's which was a pretty good response and well in character
@@ScottWilliamDunn for real that was such a angela thing to say
Dwight might be the best character every created
Wrong, there are two school of thoughts...
Michael too
He is not even one of the best....but he is pretty good
Same with creed
@@ayushsingh141 who where the best ? (is just a question)
Any time someone critiques the Office I feel personally attacked.
Them: The Office is overrated
You: HAVE YA LOST YOUR MIND COZ I'LL HELP YOU FIIND IT
That's what she said!🙂
TamTam--I am laughing so hard at your comment only because it is very true. :)
A -freaking-men. One of my closest friends said she didn’t like it and I reconsidered our friendship! 😂 jk
Same
I loved when Michael screamed: NO GOD PLEASE NO!! NOOO! NOOOOOO!!! The best and the most iconic moment on the Office ( and the greatest meme ever)
You know what? The reason I started watching The Office was because I wanted to know the story behind this iconic meme ... And then there was no turning back 😂😂
I heard that the entire series is improvised. All these random actors just turned up to this empty office building and there also happened to be some camera crew about as well.
I heard your mama is improvised and turned up to this empty office building and there also happened to be some camera crew about as well.
@@fresh_vertices yeah yeah I dated his mom and you know what-
Jim: Stop
@Sal Silvio r/wooooosh
I think your thinking a bit of the concept of the show as it’s based on a camera crew who film office life for people to see what’s it’s like
@@libbyyy5315 you are very smart
11:16 I never noticed how Jim jumped back cause he didn't expect the ball to pop
And laughed
Hardest "try not to laugh" challenge ever
Jim’s “Don’t” hit me when I first saw it. As a guy who has been there, that’s the last thing you wanna hear and the way he interrupts her, it’s perfect.
Also, when Dwight is surprised with seeing Michael at his wedding was a surprise to Rainn Wilson. Perhaps not completely unscripted but many actors didn’t know Carell would be there.
He must have known beforehand because his lines would not have made sense otherwise.
Steve managing to play Michael Scott during his Goodbyes itself is the best Improvised scene.
When Angela was singing little drummer boy, Dwight was not supposed to hold the mic for her. Angela Kinsey said that she was so nervous to sing in front of others and told Rainn Wilson about it. Rainn improvised the scene where he held the mic and sang the beats along to get her through her nervousness. I think that's really sweet.
Bj Novak's reactions are underrated. His face during The Kiss still makes me laugh 😂
Dwight being Dwight itself is the greatest improvised performance.
That's what she said!🙂
Oscar Nunez not breaking character after the kiss is the greatest acting performance of all time
Don't forget all creed scenes he was not suppose to be there but he just came out of nowhere.
He's just a young dude trying to ride the bull
Everything's cool, dude
The fact that the song for Michael was completely unaware to Michael is absolutely amazing 🥰🥰
You could even feel it was unscripted the very first time watching it
You can clearly see rain Wilson start laughing when he tries to kiss oscar too.
Hilarious
10:34 : "We're surprised anyone could keep a straight face." Ed Helms sure couldn't...
Anything with The Office gets an automatic “Like”!!!!!
That's what she said!🙂
@@wonderyearsdouche475 stop commenting “that’s what she said” on everything it doesn’t make sense. if you really are a fan of the office then you’ll understand that joke is only relevant when there is something said that could be interpreted in a different way - mainly sexual.
@@kaleimlucas6145 👍
I feel like Dwight Schrute was one of the best developed characters in the history of television. It is completely believable knowing that part of the country, right down to his car, his taste in music and his background of an Amish family. I knew folks that were like Dwight. I felt like his character was the most consistent too. This show always made me want to move back to New England. Then reality would always set in.
Dwight is a good character, but people overstate how good he is. He was entertaining, and consistent for a while, but never the best developed. He took a 180 in character traits, and while he was still funny, the show broke realism and became less enjoyable, at least for me. Dwight was a suck up to Michael and was completely socially unaware. There was a scene where he didn't even know where the clitoris was. Suddenly he turned into a womaniser, knew all the buttons to push when it came to Angela and talked back at Michael. Then there was the scene where Jim imitates Dwight to mock him, and Dwight pathetically tries to get back pretending to be Jim, which reenforces his social unawareness. A few seasons later, he is trying to annoy Andy, and understood exactly what buttons to push, pretending to be legacy at Cornell.
Pams reaction to the kiss with glossed over eyes of shock gets me every time
imagine being a background character in any of these scenes and trying to keep yourself from bursting out into laughter near the camera. legends
I love when Andy is dancing at Pam and Jim's wedding at the party before the wedding and he falls on his car keys lol
"I did it. " was so innocent there's no way that's not scripted
One improv that you missed was the episode "The Depostion" where Michael pushed Toby's lunch tray during the lunch break. This was confirmed by Paul Liberstine himself.
My favorite inprovised scene is when Kevin keeps on hitting 3 pointers
Damn, this show was the BEST! Pure Brilliance.
This is why the office is so amazing. It’s because of the great cast.
The speech that Jim gives to Michael right before Michael leaves is a real speech from John to Steve corral. And The teapot lighter is a similar thing it’s a letter from John to Jenna about there time together on the show
One of the best comedy ensemble casts of all time.
Nothing against Will, but I wasn’t a fan at all of him being in that scene where the cast sings to Steve. IMO he didn’t belong there and what he did in the scene wasn’t funny at all. Should have been just the OG cast in that one.
That was exactly the point of him being there and singing.....
When Jim pops the ball You can see him put his hand to his mouth to stop laughing.
the kiss was unscripted and Stanley face was so blank😭
11:17 u can even see jim laughing after popping tht
Angela laughing at hot dog fingers got me 😂😂😂
Knowing that Michael’s tears were a real reaction just made me cry while watching this😭😭😭 I love them soo much
The part with Jan actually was to also add to Jan as she was supposed to be symbolized as the devil during this episode (wearing red and sitting by the fire in that scene specifically)
Kevin's chilli better be here. He wasn't supposed to drop it where it happened, so Kevin's actor's reaction is genuine and decided to improv!
This is the earliest I’ve been to these videos
"Im gonna raise the stakes. Everytime u walk into this Office this image will be burned in your brains"
Oscar: "W-what're u doing?"
I feel that everything Creed says or does is unscripted....
11:16 that ball pop made me die when i noticed john krasinski jump back in shock
Oh yes, I loved that totally improvised moment where one of the actors in the background almost laughed. Man, that's what this list is all about, right? Number 10 should be number 1! It's so spot on! You guys are really great at picking out improvised moments - improvised meaning people in the background almost laughing. Right?
Yeah know the office really did start to suck after Michael left. But was still emotional when michael came back for Dwight's wedding in the last episode.
bro just ruined the plot for me
@@IsItObvious32 why are you watching this then ? Dont ever watch stuff from a series that could potentially spoil it for you.
kevin sittting on Michael's cant be improvised if there were a lot of blooper takes of that scene.
Improvised doesn't mean not repeated. Improvised just means acting without a script. They most probably improvised the scene and the directors liked it so kept on rehearsing it until it came out perfect
Supposedly the “that’s what she said”
Line when Michael was putting his face in cement was improvised! 😆
Scott's tots!! Carrell didn't know they were gonna sing that song 🤣🤣💙💙
this just proves that the actors made the entire show. amazing writing obviously too
How come noone acknowladge Dwight's reaction to kiss Oscar after Michael does, that cracks me the most and it has to be part of that improv part, right?
I wasn’t aware of any unscripted moments in the show. Before watching this video. So it was a nice watch.
Michael attempting to kiss Oscar is the best improv in TV history
Watching this video made me bust out laughing when Michael says “When in Rome” after Jan talks about Spain
Jim's reaction to Michael's flash is funny as hell
I don't know some of this. I thought i know everything about the office. Thank you for this watchmojo.
I feel like the episode where Michael hired his nephew Luke when he whooped him was improved because if you see when the camera pans into the conference room John aka Jim tried so hard not laugh
What a great show it's impossible to not love it and it was halirious too
So it was a master piece
You know when Micheal slips Tobys tray of the table, when Jan is about to sue the company. That was unscripted.
11:17 if you look closely you can see John dive out of the shot because he was laughing at how hard Rain hit the ground
For the keving on michael's lap bit, I am not sure if that was improvised because there are many bloopers of that scene
Wow, I am currently bingeing The Office, and Watchmojo uploaded this.. 👌
I've been binge watching this show for 4 years.
I love that Michael's send off was a surprise! I cry everytime I see it.
Grew up watching this masterpiece
I like how Kevin is the only one finding it funny. 11:32
oh how the turn tables
11:34 PLS I CANT BREATHE AHAAHHA
Anyone forced themselves to get Peacock just to watch The Office and Parks and Recreation
Yss
@Former Auror nah my illegal streaming days were over when I grew up and got a job
its on Australia's netflix use a VPN
12:39 "Back off, he's mine!!"Michael's thoughts in that moment.
Do "Top 10 movies sabotaged by their own director/s".
Damn, was hoping Dwight's fire drill was improvised too.
I’m so glad that Michael’s tears wasn’t #1 that would’ve been too predictable
I got an ad for Angela running the farm LOL
the clip of michael throwing toby’s tray on the floor at the episode of the dispute between jane and DM is totally improv
Between this show and breaking bad, I could not have been any more grateful
My husband and I binge watched Breaking Bad during my 20 hour labor. 😂 Love that show!!
Can we get a top 10 Seasons 8&9 episodes of The Office? Those last two seasons are definitely the worst, but there were a few gems in there that deserve some recognition, like "Lice" and "Trivia." Not sure I can even name 10, but you guys can do it! Lol.
When Michael left the show I teared up a bit 😢
in the ball pop you can actually see john krasinski shocked at how the ball pop and try not to laugh as he backed out of frame lol
Most ppl say that Deangelo’s episodes are no fun. But I love them. 🤣 He’s no Michael Scott, but I like that he’s so different.
Michael to oscar "Gay Kiss" is the best improv for me 🤣🤣
That kiss is freaking gold!
only watchmojo can play the office scenes and rob them of all humor
This needs to be a top 20 or more!
I firmly believe that the Office is a story of Dwight and his rise from beet farm owner to regional manager and finds love along the way with trials and tribulations.
I liked the balloon 🎈 pop, lmao
Been listening to podcast by the dude who plays Kevin, Brian Baumgartner, really cool to listen to.
You should listen to the "Office Ladies" podcast Angela Kinsey and Jenna Fisher. It's on spotify.
@@joshnorris6238 I'll have to check it out
Heard about this a week ago. I LOVE The Office but didn't think a podcast would be that interesting or necessary. Ended up listening to all the episodes.
Office Ladies is also on Apple podcasts 😉
famous Michael's reaction to return of Toby "God, no!.." - was improvised too.
If the devil scene was improvised, then also props to Angela Kinsey for following up with "You shouldn't joke about that!" hahaha
Sux that DeAngelo just HAD to join in. HE'S NOT A PART OF THEIR FAMILY
Watchmojo narration on these great scenes is Toby
"now my elbow has a protruberance."
2:40 "The latter" XD
You should've included Stanley yelling at ryan
Should've named it Top 10 Unscripted moments by Michael and Dwight instead 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I would love to see the blooper of Micheal and Oscar's kiss lol! I bet the cast cracked up afterward!
