- Hello you beautiful people. Trust you all are keeping safe and enjoying the festive season.
In this sewing tutorial, we will learn how to sew the traditional meriblouse. "The Blouse" was first introduced to us by the missionaries. This blouse is a special kind we would only wear to church. I've learned from a tolai susa that they call it "Kolos Tuna" in the East New Britain Province.

These days the meriblouse comes in trendy different styles to suit any kind of occasion. The styles have changed so much in the early years...and will keep on changing as the years go by. But our "Humble Meriblouse" pattern will remain our national dress.

You're welcome and Thank you too. I'm a size 12 so that blouse is for a size 12, can also fit size 14 and 16. Just chamge the armband measurements to your size and thats it. 😊
