I used to watch Jackass with my grandma back when it aired (She called it "Those really dumb guys who do really dumb stuff") And she was always was so disgusted yet so entertained, as if she was ashamed of enjoying it, So it kinda became one of "our" things to do, I miss her a lot and sometimes I remember her laughter when watching this show.

Also, since my brothers were obsessed, we watched the DVD with the bonus features, featuring the stunts they did that they deemed too much for television, like one where someone wore a stinging jellyfish as a hat, or the one where Steve-O got his butthole pierced. 😳
Make sure Grandma OK has some hydrocolloid bandages around in case she gets burned. You don't need anything but a clean wound, slap it on and the pain stops! They are magic.

The reason it is considered funny is because they are all in on the joke. There have been a couple of times when they went too far and not everyone was in on the joke at those points it stopped being funny. Like the time they dropped Bam into a snake pit. He has a legit phobia of snakes so it wasn't fun and they admitted that they went to far with that one.
I mean I know how deadly those animal can be. It's just stupid for people to be scared or hateful toward them. If anyone deserves hatred, it's evil sapient life forms such as evil humans. Because unlike other animals, humans have given themselves reasons to be hated.
