my childhood was horibble only due to this joint family system. I feel no love towards my dadi, my phuphi, my uncle. Because living together and maintaining healthy relation is just impossible. I feel bad for my mother how she dealt with all negatives of living together. I hope our men in society understands this. Please get a seperate house for your wife then only you marry. Even if the house is rented no issue. But this is the only solution and islamic solution of maintaining healthy relations. unfortunately in indian subcontinents hindu culture is still dwelling in muslim houses.
