I think what it means by mechanical hands are the ruler of every thing is this: So we depend on what we have made, so modern quality’s, for example without h AC many people would overheat, modern medicines to help sickness, life support to well support lives, and electricity so we can mass produce medicines, life support systems, and so on and so fourth, or whatever
There was a version of this song that talked about evolution, that was a really nice touch to hint at that verse through the animation. Also, the song, from what I’ve heard, has more to do with the inevitability of death through time. The line “You understand, mechanical hands are the ruler of everything” and “I’m the ruler of everything in the end” really exemplifies this. Everything in this universe, as far as we know, is ultimately ruled by time. That last line is just a perspective shift to make that point especially clear. Thank you for coming to my TedTalk!

I looked at it for a while to see where it looped and realized when he looks at his 02 he looks at it with angry eyebrows but when he looks back he dosent have the angry eyebrows (this loop was really good and I’m not criticizing it I’m just saying this for people who wondered where it looped)
