I live in Sweden, I have also lived in the UK and the US. Swedish healthcare problems are I totally believe related to the psychology of Sweden. There is a nauseating “don’t make a fuss” attitude that doctors have and apathy in the people to really challenge it. Doctors here seem to be robots and often I have seen them looking stuff up in books in front of me, unsure what to do or prescribe. It’s incredible. Waiting times for me to even get a doctors appointment are currently six weeks where I live. This is the third place I have lived around Stockholm and it was no better elsewhere. I should not have to go to A&E and sit there all day because I need stronger asthma medicine during pollen season. I lived in central London and was always able to get an appointment within 2 days maximum, so we can’t say it’s because this is a big city, it’s not big at all, it’s a tiddly 1m people. I went to the doctors with a bladder infection last summer, I had all the symptoms, hurting to go, blood, fever and felt terrible, really bad. They did a test and said it was inconclusive and the doctor looked at me with zero emotion or empathy and tried to just tell me to go home and ride it out. This is the epitome of how exchanges tend to go here. I pushed back angrily, got the meds and it responded within 24hrs. I have numerous examples of having to exaggerate to get anything properly looked at Fighting to get appointments and then finding the waiting rooms empty is also a thing. Tons of doctors are part-time or on frequent parental leave it seems. A lot of my Swedish colleagues all nod and chuckle and say, yes, welcome to Sweden, it’s pretty bad. So I know this isn’t the odd outlier. They are just resigned to it and most have no idea at all of what other countries do. I don’t mind paying high taxes for a service, but it’s the worst healthcare system I have lived in and will be one of the major factors in me not staying in what is otherwise a beautiful country. It’s also not free, you pay per appointment, including visiting A&E until you reach an annual cap. On top of taxing me this is frankly daylight robbery for what is provided here.

Amor na Vida vegan diet is NOT healthy, it’s for mentally insane people who are like the feminists of the food movement. I was vegan for three years and it made me frail and depressed. We need animal protein and fats for great health.
MEN 101 yes, I noticed 2 friends of mine can’t have children, and both vegans. One day a good research on this will tell us about it. For now they are the ones who seems to be healthy, I feel sorry for this guy, he is so nice and young...
what I meant was rather not to eat processed food generally than keep a specific diet ;) but diet..well from my point it looks like everybody is soooo different that there is no one perfect way for each. For example I am vegetarian for 30 years and feel strong and healthy ( tried veganism and also felt that's not for me). But I watch other vegan people and they do so well! I recomend Ellen Fisher channel to see how amazing family they are (ua-cam.com/channels/H3D9swlnNdy__zz9PH3fvg.html ) , their children are healthy and smart! It is good that is diversity in nature ;) !
