Superb. I like to search on this aria from time to time and listen to the different interpretations. I’ve heard many a beautiful interpretation, but what sets yours apart is how you sing the entire piece in one voice. Many tenors will sing most of the piece in a rich and beautiful tone, similar to yours, but then take the high notes in a lighter, often quasi-falsetto tone. Or they do the entire piece in a lighter tone. The way you navigated the passaggi is simply astounding. I thought for sure you’d take the final high note in a lighter tone, but no, you blessed us with an ease and beauty of tone on the top like nothing I’ve ever heard. I have never heard anything like it. You’re one of a kind.
Really liked this--some tenors are more can belto than bel canto---and you have great breath control and a very nice legato---I listened to you after Alfredo Kraus (my hero) and I wish you very great luck in your career.
Quite lovely. You have just the right balance of dynamic vs. some tenors who bellow the whole thing and others who sing it in falsetto. The French is very good as well. I like that you never use the uvular ‘r’, which Pierre Bernac always said was vulgar.
Wonderful dynamics.
He really made something out of this lovely Bizet Aria.
Love-it when he hit the High Ones.
Wow! Wonderful performance
Great Voice and coloratura unique👏🏼🙏🏼👍🏼
