I live in Australia and $5 for a coke is crazy expensive!! It’s only because tourists are willing to pay that much. Head outside of Sydney and it’s around $3-$3.50
3-3.50 is still triple of what american's usually pay, it's like 1$ for a large in america

Circular Quay specifically is particularly expensive as well, because it's full of tourists most of the time

Yes australia is more expensive for meals than USA but Sydney is super expensive so keep that in mind. They tend to put prices up in the most popular tourist destinations unfortunately. Hi from Melbourne, Australia 😊

Me and my family went on a huge trip. We had two weeks in Australia, and we also held a koala, then we had four weeks in New Zealand, where I was born, and then we had one week in Tokyo. I hope you guys have blast on the rest of your trip.

Holy cow! Im getting so many flashbacks from when I visited Sydney and went to that zoo and climbed the bridge and toured the opera house. Sydney is easily one of my favorite places in the world. BTW I love these videos, you guys are great! Keep up the good work!👍
I just started watching these vids because of the cruise vogs. I subscribed because they are so relatable and go out on real experiences. With good planning we all can travel like them. Very encouraging. I love the Airbnb for lodging instead of hotels to get a more real experience of the country they are visiting. Great job. Planning my 40th bday in November 2019

I also went to Australia! I went in November with my family and I loved it!! I never wanted to leave! I went to the same zoo and saw the sea lion show and loved it! Bali was my favorite and Piper!!

In Perth zoo they just have a meter pole and rope around the area where the kangaroos are, they can easily get out.
I go to this all all the time and seeing my favourite UA-camrs threre makes me wanna go while your there just to meet you and chels

FYI Trev and Chels...my Dad's boss runs the BridgeClimb and it's an awesome experience, but the beginning is sketchy as hell when you walk on the wooden planks! The team there are awesome and have been there from its initial establishment more than 20 years ago. However, the owners Brett and Jack have recently lost the tenure on bidding and as of September they will hand over the keys. I am glad on behalf of the BridgeClimb team and organisation that you had a great experience and it will last in your memories for a long time. P.S. I did the climb as young as 12, but it's worth it! I have an open message so I can pass your thoughts to the CEO's

You need to try the San Diego zoo and the wild animal park In California.
It's so fun to see you guys come to the city I live in! And you're so complimentary/interested in everything, which is really lovely. I can only imagine how much of a shock the food prices were to you. I know food prices are better generally in the US anyway, but somewhere like Circular Quay is also more expensive than where I live in Sydney. I'm out west, still very much in Sydney but about an hour's drive from Circular Quay.
Oh, and of course you don't HAVE to tip staff here, that'd make a difference too, I hadn't thought of that! But yeah, any of the places that I eat close to home, a Coke is not 5.50.
