i remember when i found this album i was in 6th grade, i was gifted or honors or something in reading class and we went on this mini field trip with like 4 other people to do this competition downtown for black history month. we bombed that shit and instead of just going back to the school we roamed around downtown for a bit, checking out the cool exterior exhibits and there were some nice views of the beach and some generally comfortable/cozy geometry. i remember sitting on a swing chair with my earbuds in and my stupid fucking ipad listening to this album just chillin. there was a roof over my head but there wasnt any walls around me, just 4 pillars and a building within those 4 pillars that was selling little toys and stuff. i recall it alot.
This has been one of my favourite creations for a while now, it flawlessly gives birth to this little capsule of this certain time/space of mind in my mind. Although those times will never come back, those times were when you dream big and plant this the seed of where you want to be and somehow my dreams are kind of becoming true. If you haven't started chasing your dreams just get to work, slowly, caressingly. Enjoy the process, because those times will never come back. (also thank you global & Oliver :)
