В Санкт-Петербурге помимо гранд-макета "Россия", есть еще град-макет "Петровский Петербург", который располагается на третьем этаже торгового центра, в здании, в котором находится наземный вестибюль станции метро "Адмиралтейская".
Плавают кораблики, едут кареты, скачут всадники.... Очень интересно.
Вообще, в городе много интересного, мне пятидесяти лет не хватило, чтобы всё посмотреть.
Я тоже пятидесятый год хожу по питерским музеям, а конца и края не видно.

Eleonora has such a pretty smile and speaking voice. Nice that you are able to spend enough time to explore less tourist oriented areas, One note, only recently have people opened the roof access doors to old historic rooftops and charge for use because it has been illegal for year....the roofs are fraigile and do not belong to the people charging, they belong to the city. Twenty years ago they were closed because of rooftop parties and people traveling from roof to roof was not only damaging to the roofs but a number of deaths occurred from falls. Falling bodies of tourists are a threat health of those on the ground level. I have asked some of the operators of these roof access businesses if they have permits and no one will answer. I advise tourists to not do that because if someone complains and file a complaint, getting arrested for trespass might spoil the rest of your planned vacation. There are many rooftop terraces as lounges, restaurants and clubs on the top of city center privately owned buildings that cost nothing and one can enjoy a nice meal or drink, or dance in the open air and some which are enclosed in glass making them suitable for winter use.
Have you tried to connect with the Canadian or US expat community to find hear what the many foreign expats think of living here in Russia? It could be interesting for your viewers from those regions. A hint...they will say they love it and never want to leave but all will have different details of why.
As always your videos are well done, you are a great presenter and editor. Returning to Canada will seem boring so why not move here, you could probably get a good job in broadcast or even create a business of hosted tours for Canadian or US visitors, Business opportunities are limitless and quality of life very high and low cost of living

Alina you should watch the new Russian movie "Союз спасения". Its about the Decembrist revolt of 1825 in Saint-Petersburg. It provides very nice insight on that important event in the city's history as well as gives some great images of how Saint-Petersburg looked like 200 years ago.

This movie is a total lie, they absolutely screwed up the real depiction of the uprising. For the beautiful images of Saint P, Alina should watch Sokurov's Russian Ark
@@MariaM-ki9ei Its a costume drama not a documentary. And its nicely made and enjoyable to watch. As for the historical accuracy it still 10 times better than any Hollywood movie or HBO-series (like recent Catherine with Helen Mirren) about Russian history.

Great tour and highly appropriate music used. When you one day come to Hamburg in Germany you should visit the Miniatur Wunderland which claims to be the largest one and has sections of different countries. They constantly are adding new sections. My last visit is several years ago and I look forward to go there again one day.

Don't die without seeing st. petersburg in this world, go to marinsky and watch ballet performance , climb on top of isa kievsky church to view the city, go visit peterhof palace, take one whole day to visit Hermitage museum it is incredible, must visit summer palace of Katerina "czarskaya selo"and after that go on a boat trip at neva river in "volga volga " boat , drink vodka eat olivier, borsch soup, pirochki, enjoy live music. You'll never forget it.

Thanks, Alina and Eleonora, for your video and recommendations. I'll be in Saint Petersburg in April. It takes time to plan my trip since there are lots of interesting places to visit. I love Могучую Кочку, Чайковского, Глинку so I'll be going to the cemetery of the masters of arts, the museum-apartment of Korsakov and the like. By the way, do locals feel uneasy before tourists taking videos in public spaces?
Looks like you did pretty much the same trip that we did a couple of months. I'm worried for St Petersburg as they have just started putting on super cheap flights from the UK so it could potentially turn into another Prague. Hopefully the hassle you have to go through for a visa will put the Stag parties off! Been enjoying your channel since Nov 2018 so keep up the great content and would be interesting to see a video about how you fund your travels :)
