So hold the trail palm up position as long as you can. Then release in this manner? Trail arm extends as the palm goes from palm up to palm down through the ball Key being waiting long enough (holding the palm up position). That you can release everything as hard as you want without fear of hitting a shot that starts left and hooks? Am I on the right track here?
I just saw a video by Rock Burke - original C-motion guy talking about the three different releases. What you are doing here seems to be the Cross over release and not the slap motion Lee does..... or maybe I’m misinterpreting both videos?
Michael, is the cracking the whip your demonstrating here different from the slap release, or is it the same movement just looking different in this vid?
It's all the same Ron. Grab a ruler and feel and hear speed...Slap, Hammer, No wrist breaks. Whatever. Experiment and see what defines it for you. Maintenance of the 90 and palm up is the universal that 99 percent don't do. This simple drill can prove what's best to you.
@@michaelbroderick you lost me on this one........slap hinge keeps the clubface vertical with no rotation and this release pattern is going from palm up to palm down.......not even close to the same????!!
I think the main thing is the realese of the hands late rather than to early in the swing like MA and MD showed as well to get the club head speed, i still cannot do that well myself yet but will work on it. Happy New Year! Michael and all, btw.
Works my right hand needed to be a fraction more behind to time the whip ...really good.
Great video. Retired PGA golf professional 55 yrs
Thank you. I appreciate that.

You are correct....I change releases depending on purpose
Simply outstanding! Between Lee C and yourself, I'm beginning to see the light! Much appreciated.
Ditto.
Fantastick ! Happy New Year Michael !
To you and yours as well!
Mike. Do you find yourself cracking the wrist/whip right before contact with the ball or sooner in the downswing? Thanks. Happy New Year Mike!
Best answer would be through the strike.
michael broderick Thanks Mike.
