8 years ago today, my wife & I flew home from Lisbon. It was my first real international trip (I don't count Canada, because I used to live near the border & travel between wasn't a big deal). I absolutely fell in love with the city and its people. I've wanted to return ever since & though I've been to more than 20 countries in the subsequent years, I have yet to return to Portugal. We had hoped to return this year, but the trip fell through.
Such a beautiful city, and such wonderful people.
