Destiny Fulfilled was certified 3x platinum in just over 2 months. They really did sell well. None of these albums have been updated since their last certifications.
Kandi is given us some real gems!!! She definitely is right it’s much harder to be a songwriter now than it was back in the day. So like she said it’s very important that you get with likeminded people who you can collaborate with that will help you achieve some of your goals. Collaboration is dope now because of publishing rights!!! For me if I was a songwriter I would try to play an instrument before I could get any thoughts on paper because that just how the way I would operate. Before I try to send my real Lyrics or melodies to real producer to mix it up into production. Some producers can’t write at all they only plays beats for production while other would do both. It’s a dope mindset how some of them think like that💯.

She didn't want to talk negative about men and I think at that time she was in a relationships with Andre Rison. When the remix to "No Scrubs' came out, Left Eye did the rap part, and if you listen to her part, she added some positive🤔 words to make you think you have a chance with her if, you show me mentality you got it going on, you might have a chance of hooking up with me. She leaves the door of opportunity open. Smart move, I miss her out here she still can be in this female rap game today. Kandi, also work with Alicia Keys on her debut album in 2001 Songs in A Minor, 'Jane Doe' and she's also singing on the track. What Women have done in this male dominated music industry. Alicia Walker let me clarify she stated she produced a lot of songs and co wrote songs on the survivor album. She actually did write songs on that album which is why she was able to win a ascap award for her songwriting skills. And if people can sue Beyoncé for using their voice or one line in a song than if Beyoncé contributed one word she should be credited at the end of the day.
