Back in '98 I went to the states to finish high school. I was 18 then and I met this girl and I still remember the first time I went to her house: As we were making out this song was playing, followed by blood roses (and then the album 40oz of freedom by sublime). We broke up in 2004 and remained friends, she's married now. And I'm living in London, I just turned 32. Sometimes I play this song and brings me back to that day, I thank her for all I had learned with her, specially for this song.
I remember my sister surprised me with tickets to RAINN ~ many many years ago now!! This was the most memorable show. I have only seen tori perform 4 times - this was hands down my FAVORITE SHOW. When I went home Boys for Pele went into my CD player and has NEVER left ~~ xo
Tori’s improvisation is extraordinary, the expression in the playing at the start of the song, then Tori carries it throughout the entire performance of this song.
@efkagore true, but you might want to review the history of drugs too...) a LOT more people have been getting high (on MANY different substances) than most people are aware of, for a long LONG time, WAY into pre-history even...P they tend to leave that stuff out of the text-books tho...)
she's so likable she cant help it

For some reason this song always made me think of the planet Neptune. Awesome song.
I can feel that
@@MakPerry-s2t FINALLY SOMEONE ELSE FEELS THE SAME!!! Omg I’ve been waiting for someone else to realize this for years!!!! Ty for the comment!
Cool thanks! you're the very first person to say that. If you play the song while looking at a pic of neptune you really feel it :D@@MakPerry-s2t
Don't you just love how she says "to ride on, yes, to ride on, yeeeees"?
SUBLIME, Tori ti ascoltiamo con VERO PIACERE!
Saw her last night, she was outstanding :) xx
There is only one word for this, "Genius!"

She's amazing *.* She's feel power of music!
@MadLadybug Neil actually did make her into a tree. Tori is a talking tree in Neil's book Stardust.

Mag Pie yep I think there's a tree that gives the main character guidance-I remember a talking tree of some sort :D

Totally agree ... I also have that VHS tape. She (Tori) is unbelievable.
I miss cross-eyed Tori
@kokoku82 have you ever seen Tori perform? yes, she is unusual, emotional, but drugged up? no...
This entire concert is almost exclusively played staccato.
thanks :)
💖💖💖
No, I definitely prefer 4:21. Gets me every time.
What Phil Collins does with his drums, combined with his songs, Tori is this, full into piano..pure magic!!
