The way the past and present has been presented is so beautiful. Short films are way better than Bollywood movies. It's so much high on content. Naseruddin sir is a legend. Shernaz maam too is wonderful. The younger actors are also very good! It's the story that's important! A good story lingers on in one's mind even after the film's over. It stays on!
I don't know how to respond to this... I'm speechless after the video... so I'm just gonna comment on the technical aspects... the song was extra ordinary... beautifully crafted with lyrics so synchronized with the story. The screen play just was mind blowing... the interactions between the time line... the actors... How easy it is for someone to move on and continue with their life, like it's never happened, and here we are, still trying to recreate that last goodbye, so that we could somehow change the outcome. It hurts to relive that moment again and again and again but somehow in that sorrow we find our solace.
I feel the same way. That is exactly the same thing that happened with my film "Tears of Oizys" ua-cam.com/video/nSC4ptU79-8/v-deo.html People want refreshing stories.
maybe...but it's just that I feel bengali directors have a great eye for detailing...see piku for instance... the small things.... washing the tea strainer etc.
Beautiful story and beautifully portrayed. I'm only now discovering these short films and am really enjoying them. Naseeruddin Shah is a classic. Shernaz Patel essayed her character with depth and charm. Well done.
The lady got married....got kids.... But the man remained unmarried.... couldn't forget his love. So yes 30 years were long years for the man....but for the lady... time just flew away....
U r right ... but there may be an alternative thinking from my side is nothing like that bcoz he loves his brother so much so Its very difficult to assume that he was intentionally didn't told his brother about Electric shock ..
It's difficult for girls too, after marriage she has to start a new life with a new person holding the old memories.. It's a tough situation for lady too, she didn't moved on, the lady here accepted the invitation of staying as if she wanted the same.. Girls try to show they are strong by holding their feeling inside, they suffer it alone.. It's from experience I understood, my many friends and in family also I seen ladies who maintain secret, for the sake of family.. They cry alone.. And sometimes in front of their closed one..

Uncensored So you mean Nehru had class and Modi don't have ? Don't mind but you just did a foolish comparison. Nehru never had class nor his name was Nehru. I mean his own family didn't had the guts to keep the real name or religion just because, I might have made harder for them to rule India.
Uncensored Well... Seems like you're blindly in love with either Congress or AAP, Anyways I don't like to argue with people who lack information and knowledge. Please feel free to live the lie you're living. Peace :)
Selfishness is at the basis of every relationship. We love somebody only because his/her presence gives 'us' the satisfaction we desire. Eventually, love for somebody is all about fulfilling your own desires or getting satisfied by fulfilling the desires of your partner which again is driven by the fact that one feels satisfied doing so. In a nutshell, this is all about feeling satisfied. Only pain and disappointment lie at the end of every single relationship . Its better therefore to find satisfaction within than without because by doing so one would not be dependent upon the outside world for the emotional state he/she is in at any point of time. Our own nature is that of Ananda and bliss. Get to know your nature and you will feel blissed out without needing an external stimulant for the same.
I really like how the short films are so good in expressing emotions and feelings in just few minutes and how intellectual they are, better than 2-3 hours movie . This movie really won my heart and I can't stop myself to comment ❤✨
A perfect combination of starting and the ending and that movement when the inside body asks us to do something .... just say.. actually he did that and gets the end

"Ghar pe kya bol ke aayi ho"...see, this is the level of detailing that separates an ordinary director from a good director
maybe...but it's just that I feel bengali directors have a great eye for detailing...see piku for instance... the small things.... washing the tea strainer etc.
true...I love the marathi movies...though I haven't watched any of the tamil art films
Don't forget Kerala. They churn out gems of films
+Aritra Sinha very good observer you are...
loved Premam
Beautiful story and beautifully portrayed. I'm only now discovering these short films and am really enjoying them. Naseeruddin Shah is a classic. Shernaz Patel essayed her character with depth and charm. Well done.
Masterpiece
It is a great story
Naseeruddin shah always work in masterpieces, I also create short thriller films, may be you can give them a try. I hope you will like them.
Sirf dhadi safed hue hai 👌 pure Naseer Saheb.

Did she returned bro!!
What happened after that?
The lady got married....got kids....
But the man remained unmarried.... couldn't forget his love.
So yes 30 years were long years for the man....but for the lady... time just flew away....
Well he did say he had lots of girlfriends thereafter...
Yes indeed its almost 5 years since my breakup......
I never move on but she has kids.....its ok for me and i admit that i dont have any affair.....
U r right ... but there may be an alternative thinking from my side is nothing like that bcoz he loves his brother so much so Its very difficult to assume that he was intentionally didn't told his brother about Electric shock ..
@@hiteshnayak1172 this comment related to anukul short movie I guess...?
It's difficult for girls too, after marriage she has to start a new life with a new person holding the old memories.. It's a tough situation for lady too, she didn't moved on, the lady here accepted the invitation of staying as if she wanted the same.. Girls try to show they are strong by holding their feeling inside, they suffer it alone..
It's from experience I understood, my many friends and in family also I seen ladies who maintain secret, for the sake of family.. They cry alone.. And sometimes in front of their closed one..
Har ishq ka ek waqt hota hai, wo waqt sahi Nehi tha par ab hai. DIALOGUE from Jab tak hai Jaan , beautifully designed here. In short awesome

Brilliant! Naseeruddin Shah, words cannot do justice to his acting abilities!
short films like this takes this genre to a new level. good to see people response to this and creating something a bit different from the trend has been accepted by the viewers and the audience nicely!

why isnt this class in 90% bollywood movies?
the answer to your question... Do you watch Salman Khan movies?
Well, I will say if 90% of Bollywood films have the same class as this Short. This Short film might not feel as special as it felt today or whenever you watched it.
Peace

Uncensored So you mean Nehru had class and Modi don't have ?
Don't mind but you just did a foolish comparison. Nehru never had class nor his name was Nehru. I mean his own family didn't had the guts to keep the real name or religion just because, I might have made harder for them to rule India.
Uncensored Well... Seems like you're blindly in love with either Congress or AAP, Anyways I don't like to argue with people who lack information and knowledge.
Please feel free to live the lie you're living.
Peace :)
Just wow! Said a lot in just 12 mins!!!
Get to know your nature and you will feel blissed out without needing an external stimulant for the same.

ya bro, but people won't understand and should not waste your time.
You said the ultimate truth
beautiful expression mate.
At 10.15 what a screenplay when your past is angry with you.
sach me bhai.. jaise keh raha ho... , k saale zindagi beet gayi juda reh kar kyonki , ek STAND nhi le sake. Ab phir wo mauka hai.. Amazing direction and acting
It's the moment that gets me everytime

Girls are always lucky to find support every time! What about the young boy who spent 30 yrs with loneliness along with memories what about the husband his wife wouldn’t think about him...
