Forestella (포레스텔라) is a four-member vocal group under Beat Interactive, formed through the music competition show Phantom Singer 2 and the winner of the show. They debuted on March 14, 2018 with their first album Evolution.[1][2]
Their name was created by combining "Forest", and "Stella" which means star in Latin/Italian.

This is Forestella, a crossover group from Korea. They are the winner group in the Phantom Singer 2; an audition show to form a crossover quartet like il Divo from Korea. However, as they have their own unique style, they won't be Korean il Divo, they will be the Forestella of the world!
Forestella has sung great covers like Bohemian Rhapsody, We are the Champions, Hijo de la Luna, Heal the World, the Sound of Silence, My Favorite Things, Champions (mash-up of Champs league theme and Champions by Jo SuMi), Nella Fantasia, Scarborough Fair..etc etc. At the Phantom Singer All Stars they sang Time in a bottle, Je suis Malade as well. Shape of You in English, Spanish and African Zulu is fantastic indeed.
You can even see them dancing singing Smooth Criminal as well! If you are a LOL fan, check their Warriors and Legends Never Die!
And they broke the record of their own with EXO's MAMA winning 6 trophies for King of Kings in a row in Immortal Songs. Check their magnificent performances of Bad Romance and Lazenca Save us, Unwritten Legend and Despacito too.
Forestella is a quartet of Ko WooRim (a classical bass, intense abyss-deep low tone), Kang HyungHo (an ex-research chemist, rock vocalist with soprano head voice falsetto), Cho MinGyu (a classical leggiero tenor, light boyish crystal clear tone) and Bae DooHoon (a musical actor, 159th King of the Masked Singers, emotion convincer good at R&B, Pop). Each has distinct tone and style of singing, different charm. But all of them are famous as practice-freaks. They meet almost everyday to practice together. In a radio program the leader (Cho MinGyu) revealed it would be around 20 days they didn't meet in the year. Bae DooHoon also said they don't meet 1~2 days in a month. I think this explains how their perfection can be possible.
Don't miss their m/v for Save our lives! It's full of wonders. Each of them is representing an element in the m/v. They sang Fake Love of BTS and their song Save our lives at MAMA. Their majestic original song Utopia is a must check.
Now I see they are creating a genre called Forestella. They showed "What crossover is" with Save our lives and showing "What Forestella does" with Utopia! Enjoy their diversity with their original song White Night too.
Forestella released their single KOOL in Kpop style to fulfill their promise of Kpop cover dance for exceeding 990K views of Save our lives m/v. They struggled to choose a Kpop to dance, became to think making their own Kpop song with dance! As crossover works for all genres, Forestella did a great job for their fans.

Forestella released fantastic original Snow Globe m/v! Kang HyungHo composed it, and all the Forestella members contributed in arranging it.

Forestella is unique in that they are a crossover group that sings in many genres and languages. I have never found another group with better harmonies and creativity. All their covers are live. You can also find live versions of their m/v’s . Every performance is executed exceptionally well.

1) Their original trilogy: Save our lives, Utopia and White Night. Please react in the order. Watch their MVs first then live. You will see how artistic they deliver to us in their MVs. Their other recent originals you must see Snow Globe (composed by the counter tenor Kang Hyung Ho). Very spooky Christmas vibe. There are so many messages in their songs so you need to have few watch in order to grasp their meanings. In general their original are mind blowing
2) They covered lots of great songs and they always made the songs their own while respect the originals. They sing in different languages as well.

In Spanish: Despacito (it has over 5M views now since they sang this song on Jul 2023), Marc Anthony’s Maldita Sea mi Suerte,

They showed their Smooth Criminal performance in Immortal Songs 10th anniversary special episode for the first time. Also they performed it in live during their concert tour for their 3rd album; The Forestella.
It was a big surprise even for their fans they danced quite well like this because Forestella is a crossover vocal group consisted of 2 classical vocals, 1 ex-chemist rocker and 1 musical actor who majors in acting. I mean none of them was a dancer at all..OK, at least the musical actor (Bae DooHoon) danced best of them and even the classical bass (Ko WooRim) dreamed to be a dancer-singer when he was a middleschooler, they were not used to dance as they are basically classical crossover quartet. They tried some "movement" barely couldn't call it dance in Gondre Mandre (Dead Drunk) performance before. So I thought they would do like that again. But BAAAM! Even I'm a fan of them I wasn't expecting such a dance move.
They said they tried so hard practicing their moves 6 hours a day to do justice to this song. Because MJ's Smooth Criminal needs dance to be completed. No one in this world would reach the dance of MJ, but I felt Forestella approached close to the song.
I saw their Smooth Criminal in live from their concert tour opened. And I kept following their concert tour afterward as well, I was surprised every time they got improved a lot not only the dance but also the singing. The only one bad thing was prohibition of screaming fof covid situation. Last year they revived it as the covid situation got less gross and the audience could shout as wished so badly. Even it was a cold rainy evening at the moment, Forestella was a FIRE🔥indeed.

Thanks for reacting to Forestella! They're really one of the best. If you want to hear their voices better individually, I highly suggest their rendition of "Scarborough Fair" or "Nella Fantasia". Smooth Criminal really doesn't showcase their vocals as much as their other songs. It was more of a fun one they wanted to do so they could try including dancing because they usually don't do choreography 😊
Actually i view from other reactors. Forestella did very well in techniques in Smooth Criminals song. However you are right it didn’t show case their voices than the songs you mentioned. However in this song, they really showcase their dancing talent which rarely showed in other songs they did. This proves Forestella can do anything from wide range of voices, arrangements, composing, different genres to dancing. I love everything they do. They are always the best. They are so addictive. I can’t stop listening to their songs everyday. Most importantly they have the power of healing which not every group or singer can do.

Voce ja deve ter lido que eles sao um grupo crossover, apesar de voces terem os vistos dançando, nao é o costume deles fazerem passos de dança.
Suas armas sao suas vozes e eles sao conhecidos como os REIS DAS HARMONIAS, e logo voces tambem irao descobrir o porque deste título.
Porem eles trabsformam tudo que decidem cantar.
Com arranjos novos nas musicas ou instrumentos novos, alem de idiomas tambem.
Voce leu correramente, idiomas. Eles cantam em inglês, italiano, espanhol, francês latim, russo, alemão, zulu (lingua africana), alem de sua lingua nativa o coreano.
Eles cantam do classico ao pop, e rock... voces vaonse surpreender com a versatilidade de suas músicas e todas interpretadas magnificamente.
Entao para conhecer suas vozes e seus alcances vocais precisa ouvir mais do que uma apresentação deles. E ainda assim irao se surpreender a cada interpretação.

Como ya otros usuarios les han compartido información acerca de este tremendo grupo crossover, no tengo más que agradecerles que hayan incluido Forestella en su reacción.

Tienen muchísimas opciones para reaccionar.
Y créanme... no se van a desilusionar con ninguna canción que elijan. Porque ellos son perfeccionistas y ensayan hasta el hartazgo cada canción, hasta quedar conformes.
