  • Punnami Orvakal, the first ever full moon festival in the state promised an extravaganza, organized by AP Tourism. The three day event was held from 9th to 11th June 2017 at Orval Rock gardens, Karnool. The rock garden has a wide history to depict. AP Tourism has initiated to turn it into tourist spot. Entry Fee Rs 20.
    Oravakallu is a miniature Grand Canyon, 20 km from Kurnool, filled with water bodies and sandwiched between exotic rock formations. Experience pure bliss, lazying around and gazing at nature's architecture, untouched by man. A true adventure site, Oravakallu has everything that makes up for a perfect picnic spot.
    The village is home to the Orvakal Rock Garden, which are silica and quartz rock formations amongst pools of water.

    Kurnool is the nearest town well connected with Orvakal through Road, Rail and Air transport
