I absolutely LOVE Brandon !! He knows how fortunate he is to be where he is and shows it EVERY DAY with his play, his smile, his hustle and his pointing to the heavens EVERY TIME he’s on base !!!
Having Mr. Keith Hernandez around Met players, casually, open, and comfortably, is such an advantageous LUXURY for the Met organization in general. These players are SO lucky to be able to know him, approach him, and if they are REALLY smart, pick his Baseball brain of wealth of intangible knowledge as much as possible. This astute baseball Man will be in Cooperstown someday. To have him just around the players is a secret weapon TREASURE!! LISTEN to this Man. His stature, approachableness, his knowledge,....IS RARE. How lucky it is that he is right here!!!
Super proud to root for a guy like Nimmo. The fun he has playing the game is so infectious & he just has the consummate professional mentality. Fantastic ballplayer.
Nimmo… always plays hard… runs out walks… seems like he is a positive guy in the clubhouse and the kind of guy I’d want on my team… great attitude… my favorite current Mets player.⚾️
I love both Keith and Brandon! Lovers of the game and its very important to them to play the game the right way. They also both always stay true to who they are. There is no fake personalities here and I truly appreciate that. I also love how they both want to excel in their craft and embrace the challenges that come along with it.
I’m a huge Brandon Nimmo fan as well as a huge Mets fan. He’s a true professional, never complains, does his job, lately he’s doing a great job and I think the Mets need to take that into account. Granted, he signed his contract for over $100 million but it’s almost a bargain given today’s rates for someone of his caliber. A pros pro.
I remember a lot of industry people questioned the Mets for drafting Brandon 13th overall back in 2011, because he was from Wyoming and hadn’t played high school ball (he was MVP of the Under Armour All-American game, though). I loved the pick at the time (besides the tools, you could see that he was a high-character guy), but he was seen more as a supplemental round guy. Plus, if I recall, he was an excellent student who was committed to Arkansas, and they had to give him a pretty big bonus not to go to college. On top of that, he was 18, and years away from the big leagues (5 years, as it turned out). Now, that turned out to be one of the most talented draft classes in history, but obviously, the Mets chose extremely wisely. (Maybe my favorite thing about Brandon is that he still drives the 2010 Nissan Altima that he bought after getting drafted.) I guess they could have taken Mookie Betts, but Mookie was a contact-oriented, undersized infielder who didn’t get taken until the _fifth_ round, as no one had a clue that he would turn into a future Hall of Famer. Meanwhile, the guy who was taken 2nd overall, Danny Hultzen, was the last of that first round to even get to the majors, in 2019. Just goes to show how difficult it is to know how these players will turn out.
You know what would be a great redo of a movie? Think about nimmo as the john travolta character and keith as the sam jackson from pulp fiction. Anyone? Just me?
Love this but some of the production stuff is rough and out dated. Do we really need this loud elevator music like it’s a bad commercial running the whole time? I want to hear the conversation.
How can you not love Nimmo. My favorite current met. Pure class and hard work
Nimmo is very humble. He hasn't let the big contract go to his head.
Absolutely 👍🏾 💯. The guy is a class act. We should all aspire to be this humble. He is a breath of fresh air.
He’s lived up to it
I absolutely LOVE Brandon !! He knows how fortunate he is to be where he is and shows it EVERY DAY with his play, his smile, his hustle and his pointing to the heavens EVERY TIME he’s on base !!!
This is excellent content. Please dramatically reduce the music volume on the next one if you continue the series.

My two favorite Mets personalities. LGM!
Any chance these videos could be released without the background music? It takes away from the really good conversations people we love are having
Nimmo is my favorite mlb player! I’ve met him once at a Mets brewers game, and I was shaking from it
Super proud to root for a guy like Nimmo. The fun he has playing the game is so infectious & he just has the consummate professional mentality. Fantastic ballplayer.

Both these guys are a tremendous credit to MLB

Excellent series. The music's fine
This is good but get the background music out
MORE OF THIS TY. Mets Captain Keith and great leader Nimmo. My only complaint is to please turn down the background music. Too loud. LGM

this was great!
Keith, please talk to Alonso and see what you can do for him. Wake his bat up. We know it's in there somewhere.
Do more of these without music
Favorite Met, LFGM, let's get to the playoffs!!!!
Greatest kid.🎉🎉🎉
The mets offense is playing tremendous..but what they do have is young players and depth..so they have options
The music is too loud...
If Brandon hadn't become a baseball player, he would have made a great cop
Part 2 please
NY is the mecca of media, why do they feel having that annoying music going the whole interview is a good idea?
The music is too loud and obnoxious.
Ha.
You're right. It's bad editing.
@@jimmartinsongs yeah. Here have a 🍪.
Ha.
Please lose the crappy background music and just let them talk.
You know what would be a great redo of a movie? Think about nimmo as the john travolta character and keith as the sam jackson from pulp fiction. Anyone? Just me?
Future Captain Nimmo and the Metaulis!!!
Get rid of the music
was just about to write this
💙LFGM🧡
more of these..
2 Captains!
Ill tell ya what...Keith would NEVER run that fast to first after getting a walk.
yeah there was a lot of talk in off season to trade,
Love this but some of the production stuff is rough and out dated. Do we really need this loud elevator music like it’s a bad commercial running the whole time? I want to hear the conversation.
Brandon, I believe, hits lefties better than righties... he really did an amazing job there.
Keith, you always said Rusty Staub talked you in to staying with the Mets. Revisionist history?
Turn this music off
