After watching this video, I must say that I felt so bad for those homeless people and watching them suffer and being hungry. I'm also disgusted by the way others would treat those kind of people harshly and just assume them as drug addicts; that's not true completely! Some people just have very small minds about homeless people. I would say that homeless people are like everyone else in this world, just those who had fell into tough times in their lives. Renea's story about her past life before his homelessness broke my heart. Her reunion with her daughter really warms my heart! "You should never judge someone before walking a mile in their shoes."

Being a former homeless person myself, homeless are people too. It can happen to everyone.. and if you think it can't, it can. I, truly hope those who don't think it can, never experience it. It could be anyone, someone who we are related to and those people we are not related to. When we do kindness it can come back to us but do kindness because it's the right thing to do.

I understand sometimes we become so desensitized to seeing someone homeless on the street to the point where it makes us unsympathetic or lack empathy. That’s why we should always put ourselves in their shoes. Even if we have nothing to offer ourselves, still treat them like human beings because that’s who they are.
Yeah, you see so many and you can't help every single one, especially when your struggling yourself. It sucks when you can't do anything to help

I completely agree but if you dont mind I like to add to your comment. Ive been homeless and in and out of shelters for years. Im not from America so theres a different system here. The problem here in Europe is people also become homeless due to circumstances. The problem is you don't get help if you don't have problems. When you have debt, mental problems and/or addiction you get help
And she only had to do 24 hours, the cold and wet clothes only start getting to you if you keep walking in them multiple days

I literally teared up watching this I'm going through a lot and I'm technically homeless as well I don't always have a place to sleep at night I deal with domestic abuse so not all homeless ppl are lazy there life is just really hard but I keep remembering God is in control and I'm gonna get through this

This video hits hard. I always do my best to remember that homelessness is forced upon people by circumstance. And it hurts to think almost no one is willing to lend a helping hand.
Homeless people aren’t always homeless because they do drugs or have an addiction sometimes it might be a depressing story..that’s why you should never judge before you get to waIk in their shoes.
Maybe 1/1000 cases if that . I have yet to see 1 who isn't an addict
